The hotel was decent. Evening/late night front desk attendant was very nice. Breakfast was included, overall it was a decent spread. The reason for my 3 star is, I booked two rooms. One of the rooms had a beeping noise coming from the hvac closet (which was locked). I informed the front desk attendant and she stated that she would contact maintenance and hope to move us to another room. Well I was later told that the maintenance guy was away on vacation and there were not any other maintenance staff. Due to the hotel being completely booked, she was not able to move us to another room because she will then be short a room to accommodate those that were booked. Therefore, we had to stay in a room with a constant beeping noise ALL NIGHT. Again this lady was extremely nice, it was unfortunate they couldn’t accommodate us especially since this was a property issue.

We had extenuating circumstances regarding a death in the family. This was our first stay at a Staybridge and they took great care of us. We were very thankful for them.

I really loved being here. The staff is great, the breakfast was everything you usually get but just a little bit more. Fountain soda all the time I believe. Mon through Wed you also get free dinner. The bed/bedding is the most comfortable I've slept on. And the people staying here.. don't know if I just got lucky but I met so many random friendly happy people at a time that nobody else knew how much I needed that. This was the most healing business trip I've been on. And it's all these little extra touches and the people that made it that way. Free washers and dryers. Many close restaurants and a Walmart within a mile. But out of the main flow of traffic. Will definitely be back.

Good stay. Easy in and out, good breakfast, clean and friendly. Please fix exterior door magnetic card on opener to parking lot. Didn't work one year ago, doesn't work now. Add intermediate free weights in exercise room. 15 lbs, then 40 lbs. Someone must have walked with the 20s and 30s.

Reserved a double bed hotel room through Capital One Travel a week in advance prior to our stay. When we got to the hotel, we were given a room with a King bed and were charged for a second time. The General Manager completely lied to us and said they did not receive payment from Capital One Travel. We were eventually given the correct hotel room and he told us that he would be there in the morning to work the payment issue out. The next morning comes and there are no qualified employees working the front desk. The person who was working at the front desk was somebody in housekeeping who was extremely rude to us and with her help charged us for a THIRD time, all for one night at the Staybridge Suites of Chapel Hill/Durham. We called the General Manager and a higher authority to the General Manager and still have yet to hear anything from those two. Jeronica called me this morning to apologize to us about this incident and let us know that she had reversed the mischarged payments. Jeronica was the only employee at the hotel that truly helped us and we greatly appreciate her.

This was a nice property but seemed small. The location seemed off too me, farther away from the main drag than I was comfortable with but the woodsy location was quiet. The staff was gracious. They greeted us as "loyalty members" and were quite warm. The room was big, comfortable & clean. Each room is a bit different. Ours had an L shaped set up but friends next door had an actual bedroom. The breakfast was delicious. Honestly it was the best free hotel breakfast I have had since the pandemic. It was like a pre-covid breakfast: fresh eggs, sausage, potatoes the ability to make your own waffle. There was a buffet of toppings & mix ins for your eggs or yogurt. You even had a choice of cereals & fruits. The drink dispensers weren't working but they stocked the buffet bar with bottled choices. I wish they had offered water too. I did not like the high tub / shower. It felt almost European because it's a long stretch to climb out of the tub. I would have liked a hand hold / safety bar.

The beds were very comfortable in our rooms. The suite style fit our needs well. However, little things like a broken front door handle, a dishwasher that was not attached to the cabinetry and a bathroom door that stuck to the floorade for just an ok stay.

The rooms are good, have some issues with the ice maker. It doesn't work. Its not totally stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. If your here working for any length of time, you may want to bring along extra silverware. The BBQ grills really need to be replaced out by the pool, one doesn't work and the one that does only has 2 flames and you cannot adjust it. You honestly can cook your meats adequately at all. The pool and pool area doesn't seem to be cleaned daily. Only one elevator works, and the one that works broke down a few times. They serve a good breakfast, and dinner Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. The staff have all been extremely nice and as helpful as they can be.

Room on first glance look ok but has a terrible strong small of air freshener as you walk in, making me nauseous. Then discovered so much mold in the room, doesn’t help that I have bad mold allergy. Air freshener obviously used to cover the small of mold.

This hotel works with Priceline. IHG uses Priceline to promote itself. We booked and paid for a room for 4 adults. When we got to the hotel after an 8 hour drive, the front desk clerk Shequan (and his manager who he spoke to on the phone) would not accommodate us with an appropriately sized room that we paid for. We were told that even though we paid for a room for 4 adults, they could only give us a room with a king bed and a small pull out bed that could only fit 1 person. No help was offered simply because it was done by a third party, Priceline. Shequan said his manager on the phone would not budge with giving us the correct room for which we paid. We were told they would not accept Priceline’s Agreement that showed we paid for a room for 4 adults. They would only give us a 4 person room if we paid for the room directly with them. We explained that we already paid for the room in full and it was not a refundable offer. Shequan said his manager on the phone did not care and would not budge. In the end it took us over an hour to resolve the matter and get a refund. I would be careful about booking with this hotel. I wish I read Trip Advisors reviews. There were others who also had bad experiences booking, even directly. We ended up at the Hilton Garden which had great customer service and a comfortable room.

Great experience! The front desk staff was wonderful- so friendly and cheerful! The breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Breakfast staff was also attentive and friendly. Room was clean, bed comfortable and sleeper sofa was decent for a sleeper sofa bed. The room was a bit cramped with the sofa bed open but we were really only there to sleep so it was fine for us. Let them know at checkin if you’re using the sleeper sofa and they’ll give you bedding for it. Pool and fitness room looked good but we didn’t use either. There’s also an evening social with dinner and free laundry that we did not try.

First hotel in a while that seemed solid. I didn't have to tiptoe around and I didn't hear anyone above or below. The typical rubber eggs that are in most hotels are here, but by God, these were actually edible little moons with cheese in them. The staff seemed likable and attentive. The rooms felt clean and were well stocked. Stay bridge usually is consistently decent.

The rooms have so much potential and the hotel itself is nice inside. The layout of the room was cute and cozy. It’s like having your own studio apartment. We had a kitchenette, a living room, bed and our bathroom area. The beds were very cozy and the blankets were some of the best I’ve ever slept in. They felt almost like weighted blankets. Your experience can be very enjoyable…if you overlook some details. The bed skirt looked old, worn out, and dusty with some sort of stains on it. The bathroom has mold spots on the ceiling and mold in the crevices of the bathroom caulking. Somehow there were permanent fingerprints in the paint on our bathroom wall. The microwave is dirty and has burn marks inside of it. The curtains were dirty, from the top to the bottom, with a noticeable light brown stain. But the worst of all was that there were quite a few strange people lurking around the hotel and giving my husband and I suspicious looks. One woman was sitting in the halls, draped in nothing but a bedsheet and another strange woman was walking around barefoot and spaced out. I had started to tell the management about it, but the ladies at the front desk knew them by name and the person they were staying with, so automatically I knew they were “regulars”. I didn’t have a bad time, though. Just a strange time. I most likely won’t be staying at this hotel the next time I visit
