You can always find something at the scrap exchange. I bought some quilting books from the 90’s and Crochet/knitting books with nice patterns. I even saw a Royal Typewritter from the 1960’s which I learned how to type on back in the day, good price I thought. You never know what you’ll find!

The Durham Scrap Exchange is truly a marvel. So many odds and ends, and I found exactly what I needed. Made me think of the Room of Requirement in HP (not a fan of the series anymore but the world building is still something short of a miracle).
A dangerous place for a rapidly emptying wallet and endless ideation.

Filled with a lot of art supplies, more than one can imagine. Friendly staff. They also host events. Prices are good too. Plenty of free parking.
