West Village is an apartment community in the historic Warehouse District of Downtown Durham. It is comprised of ten historic buildings, pre-dating the 1920s, converted into one-of-a-kind industrial-style lofts with exposed brick, hardwood floors, high ceilings, oversized windows, and original wood beams. The Moore Building offers contemporary construction with open, spacious units for a modern luxury feel. The location is excellent in a great spot downtown, and the building has wonderful amenities. The leasing office is very helpful to tenants. Staff members are described as sweethearts who are helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They provide fantastic service, clear communication, and follow-through. The team works hard to encourage active engagement and feedback to address issues in a timely manner. The process is seamless and enjoyable, with staff quick to respond and always ready to help. Many would recommend West Village as a serious contender for moving to the city.
