“Now THIS is how you turn a store around. Absolutely brilliant.
A few months ago, the difference compared with today was night and day. Now you walk through the doors and the shelves are fully stocked, properly faced, beautifully organized, and actually look like someone gives a damn. The store is spotless, the presentation is sharp, and the entire place feels completely transformed.
And the customer service? Fantastic. Every single time I walk in, I’m greeted warmly and treated like an old friend. That doesn’t happen by accident — that comes from strong leadership and a team that actually cares about what they’re doing.
Whoever is running this location deserves recognition because they’ve clearly raised the standard. Corporate should take a good, hard look at what this management team has accomplished. Going from struggling shelves and an average-looking store to something this clean, organized, welcoming, and well-run in just a few months is one hell of a turnaround.
Whatever changes were made here, don’t mess with them — they’re working.

“Its now called The Country Store. Prices are good and the meat is fresh. The meat is better than any place in Edenton or Hertford. They fill propane tanks too. They have basic dog and cat food too. Need fishing sinker? They have a good supply.”
“Place is now called Love Food Mart 2. Great place to stop before putting the boat in cuz they got non-ethanol gas (89 octane); snacks, sandwiches, beer, and bait. They do need to fix the parking lot. Don't go out the side by the gas price sign, or you might break an axle!”

“Just picked up sodas. Busy place. Close to the interstate. They do subs here too. They are very handy being here in the vicinity of a Rose's, a Food Lion, a Pizza Hut, a bank, assorted fast food stores, and the hospital.”
“I've been staying in Edenton and this place is walking distance. I love that they have so much to choose from. Including the Spanish candies and cookies , pinata mixes, my iced coffee... “I needed antibiotics for a tooth infection while visiting relatives here. There was a problem with my insurance and they found a discount that brought the price down to what my insurance would have paid. My prescription was ready when I arrived.”
“The staff is always so helpful..even when the customers are extremely rude. I have witnessed them be very calm and be blatantly disrespected. Not sure if its racism or entitlement but hats off to the pharmacy team especially Lynn the pharmacist Myla and this wonderful team for what they deal with every day that ive seen.”

“Awesome place to grab something quick. I have never waited in line more than 2 min. The gas is normally the same or cheaper than nearby competitors.Unfortunately, they aren't open 24 hours any longer. The bait and tackle side would be a great opportunity for them if they put a little money in.”
