We stopped by on our beach vacation and checked out the store. Product and clothing is great!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excited to come back and try surfing which they offer surfboards for renting!Can’t wait to go back!

The store had a great selection of clothing and surfwear items. I brought in all six of my kids and the employees were so kind and friendly to all of us. We loved it and will definitely be back!
South Swell Surf Shop is located in Emerald Isle, North Carolina, the southernmost portion of the OBX. Emerald Isle is a south-facing beach town on a 25-mile stretch of a barrier island known as Bogue Banks.
Thanks to our hard-working team and our patrons that have supported us over the years, we have become one of the most popular surf shops on the NC coast.
Our location is in the heart of Emerald Isle and has been the local “core” surf shop in town since 1989 and we plan to keep it that way!
