We stopped by on our beach vacation and checked out the store. Product and clothing is great!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excited to come back and try surfing which they offer surfboards for renting!Can’t wait to go back!

The store had a great selection of clothing and surfwear items. I brought in all six of my kids and the employees were so kind and friendly to all of us. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Pat & Anna are the BEST!!! Our company came in hot this week to shop around and we all ended up with hundreds of $$$ in AWESOME merch bc they were so helpful and treated us like first class.They have a lot of sweet brands, but they also do their own and I highly recommend those bc, of course, supporting local is the move, but also bc the designs were dope!Looking forward to stopping again when I’m back in town for business, and until then you all shouldn’t shop anywhere else for surfboards, skim boards, any beach or lifestyle apparel, glasses, and more! They’re the best!

Truly amazing surf shop on the island. Price points are reasonable, shelves/racks are always well-stocked, and the staff (especially Pat) are helpful without being overbearing or pushy. The South Swell-branded t-shirts are superior quality and I love the creative designs even more than I like most of the actual big surf brands. SSSS is truly a one-stop shop for casual apparel, boutique-level outfits, and surf gear.

Great shopping experience. Have been here several times. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable about their products.We even used their online store for Christmas orders to be shipped to our home. They had great sales and when we received our package we received a personal note from the manager along with some stocking stuffer freebies for the kiddos! This is a store that goes out of their way for their customers and if you follow their social media you can tell they really care about their community.

First time shopping at this shop. The staff is very friendly and attentive! This store has the coolest selection of clothes, shades and foot wear! They have anything you need need to surf or skate. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Great store!

Absolutely the best surf shop on the Crystal Coast. Extremely friendly customer service and a great selection of items. South Swell has always carried beautiful clothing, shoes and jewelry! Not to mention any of your skating and surfing needs! A definite stop while visiting Emerald Isle.

South Swell is my go-to for sunglasses, sandals, tshirts, swimsuits, and more! They have a great selection of men's and women's clothing at any given time throughout the year. Their management and employees are welcoming and helpful which makes the shopping experience a pleasure!
