“I had to replace a stud on my car’s right rear tire and had previously done this at Blacks Tire. They usually took about 3 hours and charged $400 to change it. When I went to Blacks to have them change this broken stud they told me that the best they could do was make an appointment for Monday which would require I take another day off work and drive on the broken stud — which is not a good idea — for three days. I tried several other tire shops around the Dunn area and none could even get it in the shop today. Finally I went to Erwin Tire and Auto and they said to bring it in an hour while they acquired the part. I had it in the shop and it was done in an hour for less than $100. That is why I will only use them for this purpose from now on.”
