I am extremely unhappy with this Home Depot. This is the second time I have placed an online order with this store, have it completed online and my credit card charged, only to find out days later they can't fill the order. This last time was within the last week. Ordered a riding lawnmower online, the store showed 3 mowers in stock and available. Also ordered a rear bagger for the mower. Both to be delivered to my home. Bagger was coming via ups from out of town. At 8:30 pm the night before the mower was to be delivered I received a voice mail message from Home Depot that the mowers in stock were actually returns that didn't work and they were cancelling the order. I had to call customers service since the bagger had already been shipped to try and get that stopped. Too late, I would have to handle to have the local store come out to pick that up after delivery. I asked when they would have the mower in stock, didn't know and to get one it would have to be approved by the store manager and would be an extra charge for a special order. Terrible!!!!! Well, found almost the identical mower at Lowe's, same mower made by same manufacturer under different names. Two in stock and they will deliver in two days. Why does Lowe's have 4 stores to Home Depot's one in Cumberland County? Isn't the fact that there are over 330,000 people here warrant at least one more store in the Hope Mills area. Home Depot use to way ahead of Lowes, that certainly not the case anymore. Maybe Target will get around to opening another store also. Their parking lot is terrible.

We purchased several appliances and a Cub Cadet riding mower from Home Depot online. All three items were defective. I'm not sure if the items were refurbished and sold as new. The Cub Cadet is under warranty and we were informed by Cub Cadet that we had to transport the mower to and from another city for the authorized manufacturer at our expense to be repaired. Spend your money elsewhere.

This is the absolute worst store to order from online. If you need delivery seek a different path. I cannot recommend that any more! I ordered a patio door that sat in the store for three weeks after they failed to deliver it, and failed to reschedule until I called. I called to have it rescheduled, got it rescheduled for delivery, and then they failed to deliver it once again. Then they wanted to reschedule the delivery for a third time, and I decided to seek a different path. Save yourself the drama and go somewhere else. I could not be any more irritated.

Very unprofessional and TERRIBLE customer service. I took off work expecting an appliance delivery. Delivery never came so I'm going back and forth with the female rep over the phone just to be told "Looks like they called the wrong number on file." Apparently their way of holding themselves accountable is to inconvenience the customer more because now I have to take off another day for their miscommunication. Do yourselves a favor and conduct business with a more professional store. It'll save you a headache, and PTO.

We ordered a refrigerator, scheduled the delivery. You have to make yourself available for the entire day as they don't give you delivery window until the day before. Our window was 12 - 5 on a Friday. Got a call at 3:30 that they were 20 minutes out. Our old fridge is now emptied, unplugged, water line detached and ready for new one. They call an hour later that the truck broke down. Long story short, they were unwilling to do anything but reschedule for Monday. Have to play that same game all over again with wait times. Refused to even try to do anything for us on Saturday (even though they deliver on Saturdays) I understand life happens but how you manage them is what people remember. Awful customer service. No fridge for us for the entire weekend.

Love everything about this Location, EXCEPT......THE LADIES AT THE RETURN COUNTER. Over half of them always have an attitude, are engaged in private conversations (regardless of the customers waiting), and just overall seem to not want to do the working/customer service part of their job (which is their only job) lol.

Don in appliances was amazing today. We moved from Minnesota to the area and needed a Fridge and washer and dryer. Luckily Don was the one available to help us and he is VERY knowledgeable. I was going back and forth to a few stackable washer and dryers and he knew EVERYTHING I had questions for without even looking at the info sheet! I had 2 narrowed down and we'd be at one and he'd be telling me how this one was different etc. he was so polite, so knowledgeable and friendly. He got our fridge, washer and dryer ordered and it would be delivered in 12 days which we thought was great. EVERYONE of my questions I had asked he knew right away. Even gave us a few tips. Would HIGHLY recommend Don in the appliance area. We will be back if we ever need more house appliances. And wow we got some amazing deals!!

My wife and I ordered a new island for our kitchen. The island was delivered to our home and after opening the packages we found that the granite top was broken in half. As you can imagine we were extremely frustrated but confident that Home Depot would resolve the problem for us. I called and spoke with one of their contact specialist who informed that she would need to contact the vendor. After about a 5 minute wait I was informed that she wasn't able to reach the vendor but she was able to leave a voicemail and we should hear from the vendor in about 24 hours, which seemed reasonable. Well after almost 48 hours passed without any contact from Home Depot or the vendor I decided to reach out again to Home Depot. Again I was told by the contact specialist that she would need to contact the vendor and was placed on hold. After a few minutes she returned to the phone and I was given the same story of her not being able to reach the vendor. At that point I was given an option of having the island picked up within 5 business days and receive a refund but in order to receive a replacement island we would need to place a new order and pay for it out of pocket. Needless to say I'm beyond frustrated with the lack of customer service that we have received up until this point. My wife and I spent our hard earned money only to receive a damaged product and be told that if we want this problem resolved quickly, just place and pay for another order.

So disgusted with this store. Purchased a washer and dryer that are stackable, explained to the salesman that we needed a 10' electrical cord, he said they dont sell those I would have to purchase my own, ok. Showed him pictures of the room and where the appliances needed to go. Told him we need a longer duct, he sold us the longest one they carry. Ok, we scheduled the delivery, had to go over 2 weeks no washer or dryer, going to the local mat. The big day comes, so excited to have my new washer and dryer in my remodeled laundry room, but nooooo, they tell me they cant use the cord because I didnt buy from them, I will have to connect it myself, and they cant piece the ducts together, I will have to do it. Ok, you connect the hose I purchased from you to the dryer and we will splice the duct to the duct going to the outside, Noooo they cant do that. and they cant stack them without the hose being connected. So I refused the delivery. Now I have to go find another washer and dryer, should have stuck with Lowes.

We absolutely loved our Home Depot stores in Washington state. Always well stocked, knowledgeable people and friendly. Unfortunately it is a different story in NC. If you want to buy cabinets, appliances,ect it is fine if you are good with online purchases. You can buy most small things here. But even lumber seems better at the competitors around town.

I've been to this home depot location a few to my ex in the last two weeks. Ordered some flooring in store took less than a week to get in. Very pleased about that. The paint department was very helpful I just needed a a white paint for trim and mixed paint for the walls. Because you know new floors require fresh paint for the walls. I picked up a couple light fixtures that they had in store overall great attitude by the store associates of the paint department, the lumber department l, the flooring department. Only issue I had was when I went in to pick up my order I went to the customer service/pickup register, told the lady I was there to pick up flooring, gave her my name and she printed a form and said my order will be at register 1 when I was ready to leave. Okay great. I pick up some additional items I needed checked out at the self service registers take those items to my truck. My order is at register 1 as stated. I wait until the young lady at register 2 is done with a customer and tell her that this was for me and she said take it I am good. So the issue I have is no idea was required, no confirmation number required. Anyone could just walk out with someone's order. I have faith in humanity but it does happen and the potential headache for the customer it could create can be easily avoided. Some items I needed were not available at this location resulting in a little traveling to get what I wanted.
