“My class had the most fabulous field trip and experience at Pisgah Gem Mine & Gifts! I teach grades 1, 2, & 3. The students throughly enjoyed the whole experience and learned a lot! The field trip was educational, engaging, interactive, and the staff were friendly and informative. We had a program about gems, participated in hands-on experiments. The children each got their own bucket of sand to mine for gems! We then learned about different fish, reptiles , and animals, and were shown live specimens. Then we walked across the street, after shopping in the store filled with interesting goodies, and visited Fins on Fifth. The children enjoyed observing the fish, snakes, reptiles, and a variety of other creatures. The staff was highly engaged and will to answer questions and share information. I highly recommend this experience as a field trip or as a family outing. I had been to the gem mine earlier with my young grandsons and they throughly enjoyed gem mining. Thank you for a fabulous experience! We definitely plan to return!”

After a heartbreaking experience with my 20-year-old channel-set engagement ring being damaged during a resizing, I had nearly given up hope. Not so much that it overwhelms you but enough to give you a decent selection. Tried on a few items and loved all of them which never happens for me. Normally I’ll try on 8 things and like one or none of them. Everything was good quality and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning in the future”
