“You will not find a better all round fitness center w/ lap pool, therapy pool and hot tub. Very clean and friendly staff. They have some odd weekend schedules but well worth a little inconvenience. Recommend highly from a pick consumer.”

“Robin and her team was such a huge help as our coordinator for our wedding reception, I can't imagine having done it without her.
We were trying to keep costs down as far as things like decor and she decorated the space with basically zero direction from us with what the venue had on hand, and it was beautiful! We provided some flowers that were grown by a friend, and she arranged them into lovely table centerpieces.. she laid out our snack spread for our welcome gathering in the Bier Garden.. set up a photo booth for guests.. we really didn't have to worry about anything. All of our guests had a great time and enjoyed both the Bier Garden and the Event Space, which had room for a 5 piece band. It was all very laid back which was exactly what we wanted. We also ended up having to reschedule after hurricane Helene, and it was easily done with great communication and no headaches.
I would recommend getting married, having a reception, or just a big party here to anyone. Thanks again!”
“We cannot say enough good things about The Horse Shoe Farm. We’re florists and were hired by a wonderful couple for a Wednesday wedding at the Farm, and the experience—from load-in to load-out—was exceptional.
The room draping for this event was fairly complex, and the team was incredibly accommodating with our setup timing. They also showed real flexibility and understanding around next-day pickup, trusting us to leave the space completely cleared of floral so they could prepare for the following event. That level of trust and professionalism means a lot to vendors.
Their entire team was present and fully engaged during the event. They helped troubleshoot last-minute changes, moved furniture without hesitation, stayed on schedule, and hosted a truly wonderful evening.
What really stood out was that the owners and managers were personally on site, hands-on and attentive. It’s clear they care deeply about both their clients and the vendor teams they partner with.
We would absolutely love to work at The Horse Shoe Farm again and highly recommend them—to couples and vendors alike.

“We had our son’s second birthday party at WRTS and it was such a great time! The kids had a blast, staff was helpful, and the space was perfect for our needs. It was an added bonus to have a craft room available, and the party room was gigantic! Would highly recommend for kids birthday parties!”
“We stayed at the farmhouse at Mountain View acres in flat rock ,we were visiting family in the area for a wedding . This place is absolutely beautiful and it has a lot of activities for kids .We had four boys with us and they played so hard they had so much fun I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to get away to the mountains. The house was breathtaking. Beds were so comfortable!

“As an elopement and intimate wedding photographer and planner with Golden Hour Elopements, this is one of my favorite venues. It has an elevated vibe that pairs so well with the beauty of Biltmore. I have photographed a lot of weddings in my 17 year career as a wedding photographer and this was one of the best meals I have had at a wedding. Delicious.”

God willing, I try to get here once a year to take it all in, and enjoy the speakers as well. There are so many opportunities (January-November seminars) (December concerts) to come and learn and grow in your faith, then relax in the beautiful surroundings, or take a healthy hike or a leisurely stroll, through the many paths and trails. it's quiet; perfect for prayer, reflection, and meditation.”

“My kids always have such a great time here. There is a spot for younger ones that are not as fast and a big area for the bigger kids. They don't allow outside food/drink but they have some good options you can purchase. The only problem i find with the place is that my kids always become sick a couple days later after visiting. I would recommend bringing hand sanitizer for when they are done playing.”
“We were immediately blown away by the Biltmore Banquet Hall. Much like the rest of the home, that is outstanding. The huge fireplaces and massive table immediately capture your attention. Looking around and we noticed the massive circular shaped ceiling insuring almost perfect acoustics. The furniture and furnishings are each noteworthy in themselves. It is hard for me to imagine what an eight course meal was like in such surroundings.”

“The best thing about the hotel is the customer service it has, a good and friendly team of workers who are always attentive to your requests, the location is very good, there are restaurants nearby and it is very quiet with an acceptable price. I think that on a next visit to Asheville I would consider staying there again
Rooms: I didn't like the bed, the mattress had a hole in the middle as if it were an old mattress, the bathroom had a dirty towel, the toilet didn't work well as if it was clogged, the bathroom air extractor didn't work either”

“Great location near the airport for a quick stay, the manager yesterday and today was awesome, super helpful and friendly, even called for a courtesy to make sure the room was satisfactory. Definitely would stay again, the walls are thin so it is slightly loud at times but not too bad honestly. Had s comfortable bed and hot water that lasted a while.”
“Great little place. Went with a wheelchair user and was a little disappointed with all the steps. Maybe they had ramps but no one offered so he didn’t bowl instead he watched from behind the bar up top. Lanes were super oily. No hot food only chips and candy which was a little disappointing as well. But employees seemed really nice and even invited my son to a special needs night”

“The NC Mountain State Fair is a fantastic day out for the entire family! We recently visited, and it was everything a good state fair should be and more. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and it didn't disappoint.
There's a perfect mix of thrilling attractions for the adventurous adults and classic, joyful rides for the little ones. The Chair lift offered a great view of the surrounding mountains, and the carnival games provided endless fun and a chance to win a prize.
Beyond the rides, the exhibits were truly impressive. The livestock displays were a hit with the kids, giving them a chance to see farm animals up close. We also loved exploring the craft and agricultural exhibits, which showcased the incredible talent and hard work of local North Carolina residents. There was something interesting around every corner, and it felt like a real celebration of the state's heritage and community.
Overall, the NC Mountain State Fair is a can't-miss event.”
