“Visited on a Sunday afternoon, it was so wonderful to see some local art! Such a great use of a historical building in downtown Fayetteville. Admission was free and the lady working was very friendly and welcoming when we walked in. We stayed for about 15 minutes, the space was small but could fit a decent amount of art.”
“Great spot to stop by if you’re on base and need WiFi. The volunteers here are incredibly welcoming and kind. They had a fully stocked fridge with drinks, energy drinks, and even a bunch of Girl Scout cookies. It’s a comfortable place to relax and recharge. Really appreciate what they do for service members here.
Note, to get in you have to go through the main entrance and walk all the way down the hallway and take 2 rights.”
“I see a lot of foreigners go there. But one question, where's the meat? And do they pick through the merchandise before giving it to the public. I went to this place on Murk that gives out food once a month. And I've seen for myself, people that bring the food in, take what they want. And then the volunteers take what they want and than they put product in grocery bags and give it to the public, but they take cases of product. I stop going there because what they do isn't godly or right. I believe none of these places that's giving out food to the public is worrying about food stamps or food.”
“We stayed at the campground for several days while visiting family and friends in the area. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We visited with fellow Elk members one evening and really wish we had more time to get to know everyone.”
“I would like to thank the staff for assisting me in getting a hand rail by my frontdoor steps. “The House of Samaritans is an amazing organization. I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Felix Moore and the overall experience was phenomenal. It great to see an organization taking the steps locally to change the world globally.”
“Excellent Leadership, group of Veterans, and Family! Hard at work on Veteran Issues, Community Service, and out reach. The resilience of this Post to overcome natural disaster and continue mission speaks volumes on it's Leadership and Members. Humbled to be a small part of such an amazing group!”
“Ms Renee and her staff are truly the most amazing group of people!! From the moment I touched ground on their property they have been understanding, helpful, and so kind!!! I went to make a donation and they ended up being a blessing to me! If you are a veteran, and need help, call them! They are veterans helping veterans!!”
“FAPS brought us our best friend, Valentine, many years ago. Even after all this time, we always remember how clean and friendly the environment was. Though he has passed, we will always appreciate the hard work they do for the animals and the chance they gave us to adopt him. They are an amazing organization!”
“I know that in the past the kitchen at the Pathway of Hope has been lacking. But in recent months, we have been working hard to make sure everyone has a complete and balanced healthy meal for our community. We love our community and will continue to provide much needed services”
“Yeah, I don't have anything bad to say about it. Sign is well posted on the street. The parking lot has a few places you can access, however the Y is located behind the big building, just follow parking lot to the left side of the big building, park, then follow the signs down the sidewalk to the entrance.”

“My name is Sandra McArthur and I reached out to Action Pathways probably about a year ago. The reasons were my house needed somethings done that I could not afford at this time ,my heating system was shot although it was a carrier unit but it was installed in 1993 or 94 . I went on internet downloaded the application and I applied ,well I was told there was a wait list of 2-3 years and I was like ok but about 8 Mos later I got a letter saying that everything had been verified and my process started . First of all I would like to thank everyone AP staff, contractors project managers all were wonderful and I did everything they asked me to do I just can't thank everyone enough. I especially want to thank Mrs. Florence Sabian,Sonya Project manager . I would email Mrs. Sabian every few Mos to make sure I was still on the waitlist and I was. The services I received were all of my appliances were checked to make sure they were working correctly,my exhaust fans in bathrooms were replaced ,shower heads were replaced, insulation was installed in my attic, under the house as well . Get ready this was the best one my hvac system was completely replaced. I have been freezing for the last three years and my electric bill was through the roof like 1500.00 because of the faulty heater. So if anyone needs help and you qualify and do what they ask you apply you will be happy you did . Thank you so very much to everyone ACP .Sandra McArthur”
“I like that they let you pick your own food instead of giving things that people may not even like. The clothes room has nice things. Not just clothes and shoes but things for the home as well. And everyone that works there are all polite and helpful. I recommend them to anyone that is in need.”
“We have been donating here for years… and we love the staff. Everyone is always helpful and we always walk out with our bags full. Yes somethings are over priced but then don’t get it lol. Huge selection of all kinds of items!”
“Very small store doesn’t have a lot of appliances maybe one part two fry pan not a lot, but it has a lot of clothing and looks like it’s cheaper than any other places”
“Kind of confusing at first but no problem finding someone that was eager enough and polite to showe where I needed to go
Staff was courteous and helpful. 5 Stars here”
