This company is absolutely sorry my internet is down 6-8 times a month and this goes on without even a hurricane present if you're going to get internet service and this company contacts you for service don't walk run and run hard don't look back!!!

We want to thank Tiffany for going above and beyond to insure the internet service was at the highest quality. She is always willing to answer any questions we may have promptly and with accuracy. Even though Optimum had some service interruptions with hurricane Helene, we received text messages when the outage was out and when it was restored which was reassuring to me and my business. I had to help my 88 year old Mom to get her cellphone to work because of poor cell service. Neither of us knew what to do with our Straight Talk plan that wasn't working properly in Franklin, NC.
We went to the local store just off Hwy 64 and encountered 2 wonderful employees (Ricci and Shirley) that really went out of their way to help her solve her connection problem by switching her over to Optimum's relatively new cell service.
I met Ricci outside and she immediately tried to figure out the problem and was super helpful. She worked directly with Shirley while they had to go through a lot of steps, including not only figuring out the problem, but also finding solutions.
They saved us time, money, and best of all they did it in a way that I felt like I was part of their family. I can't say too many complimentary things about both of them, they were simply fantastic!
I don't know if this review will even be seen by the higher ups, but I can assure you that they are stellar examples of how to provide great customer service with a positive attitude!
Thank you both and I definitely want to let others know that the Franklin NC Optimum customer service is top notch! A+++++

Travis helped me out by replacing my modem and reconnecting our wifi. He was extremely kind and patient when guiding me through the process. Travis was able to provide the service in a timely manner and stayed until I was able to fully connect to the internet. He went out of his way to show me what to do incase I lost connection again. I would definitely recommend Travis!

I was told that optimum was the best in this area. So therefore, no questions asked. I signed up immediately once getting my home. I’m now on my fifth month of optimum and I’ve had four outages so far. When there is an outage, they don’t automatically credit you. they expect you to call in and wait over an hour to speak with somebody to get the credit instead of just compensating for the outage. They also do not have someone to answer your phone calls in the evening so you have no clue what’s going on. Also when you do get somebody. They never tell you what kind of timeframe the outage will be for so you have no clue what to expect or how to prepare. At the very minimum when there is an outage, they should automatically credit their customers. That’s just the right thing to do. However, I’m quickly learning that optimum does not do the right thing by their customers. Also find it very odd that there has been no weather whatsoever today, but the Internet has been out twice in one single day. Both without any explanation and any timeframe at all.
Want to add. Every time the internet goes out. You have to call after to have them refund you for the time it was off. Even though you already called while the service was out. They don’t automatically give the courtesy of the refund. You have to call every single time and wait on the phone for 20-90 minutes on hold to get a live person to ask!!!!
