After over 10 years and two different dogs getting groomed wonderfully, the manager decided to let me walk away because I called to cancel/ reschedule more than 24 hours prior and didn’t leave a vm message. The next morning I explained the situation and asked for an exception to their cancel fee of 50%. After a reasonable and unsuccessful negotiation attempt, I asked if she was willing to let me walk away. The answer was yes. Wow. Buyers beware. The grooming is wonderful. The management doesn’t care one bit about the customer. I hope you don’t run into the “it’s our policy” conversation. Thumbs down and very disappointed.

The entire staff is very sweet and professional. They take excellent care of both of our fur babies. Which is no small task. We adore Brooke for her continued commitment and love that she shows our precious pups. Thank you guys so much for everything!Oh yeah....p.s. the prices are super reasonable too!Love this place !

My wife Jeniya just picked up our Shih Tzu named Butch. First time at Doggy Day Grooming. She and Butch both say thank you Alex for such a professional and caring job. Wife says to give 6 stars. Butch is year and half and has been to multiple groomers, some of which he did not like, some of which did a poor job, but now Butch has his personal, professional groomer.Butch says he shall return. THANK YOU

We had a student groomer groom our 2 golden retrievers, this was the best they have ever looked. We have disappointed many times before with how they were groomed at other locations. At Doggy Day groomer, they did the best shaping and trimming of the feet we have seen. Looking forward to their future appointment.

I wish I would've stuck with Jaime!!I almost wasn't going to write a review but then I thought no I should!! We moved to Fuquay and started using this grooming facility for our dog Tallulah. Our first interaction was phenomenal and I would have definitely given five stars had I stuck with our initial groomer. However, upon the next appointment he was not available and I let a young woman named Krista (sp?) groom Tallulah since she didn't need a full cut she was just getting cleaned up. The young lady did a good job of this and so when it was time for the next appointment I thought I would go ahead and give her a chance as she was available. I was very specific in what I told her I wanted done to Tallulah and I even referenced Jamie's cut. I even showed her a picture. When I picked up my dog she had done the total opposite of everything we discussed!! They have you pay prior to handing your dog to you and when she handed me Tallulah I thought to myself this doesn't look right but there were people waiting behind me and the young lady had also begun telling me how she had a bad day with some incident and she was in pain. As soon as I got home with Tallulah my husband immediately looked at me and said what is going on with her haircut and I said okay so it's not just me because I thought maybe I'm being a little irrational in my expectation. I immediately called up to the groomers and left a message for them to call me to which I received no reply I then called the next day and still no reply. Finally that following week I called on that Tuesday and reached someone and made them aware that I had been calling the previous week told them my complaint and they had the young lady call me. Her and I had a lengthy discussion and she asked me to give her the opportunity to make it right and I told her I would but this next one would be on her and she said okay. I get to the groomers on my scheduled appointment, we discuss what needs to be done, she then has a young lady write it down (which is what she should have done if that was an issue with her) and I leave my dog in her possession. I come to pick up Tallulah and she then tries to charge me $65.00 acting as if she had no idea we had a conversation. She starts telling me how she can't groom the dog for free and I told her I don't pay for services twice when they were done wrong the first time. I reminded her of our conversation and I told her that I was not paying her again. She had an immediate attitude... she went and got Tallulah and handed her to me with an attitude.A friend who was with me asked why the owner did not intervene during this altercation to which I had no response because I don't know but it's a good question.

We have taken our dog LouLou here for almost 7 years. Very delighted in their work. Yvonne! does excellent work. However the past several months something has changed. The work ethic and attitude of the crew has deteriorated to the point where we won't be returning. Seems volume of business has overtaken quality.

Horrible groomer. The big box stores do a better job than this location. I took my poodle in for his haircut and what we received was razor burns all over his body. Our poodle is now petrified. We've attempted to contact the owner but only the terrible hired help answered. Our dog began scabbing two days past the groom where the majority of the scabbing was around her face and ears. We had to take her to the vet for antibiotics and a cone due to the itching it caused him. Do not take your family pets here, they certainly do not treat them right.

Bad attitude from the Groomer, bad cut on my 2 dogs. Hair everywhere in the car. Appointment was at 11 the didn't get out until 3. Groomer wanted to charge extra because my 3 pound girl had an attitude? I will be glad to talk to the owner to see if this is acceptable behavior from the hired help I was charged for full price for a cancelation 3 months ago. No mention of this until my wife went to pick them up

Quality service at a great price! All of the groomers are exceptional; however, our dog, Lucy goes to Jaime. My family as a whole loves the way he grooms the dog!

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the grooming service my dog received at Doggy Day Grooming today. When I dropped off my dog, I made it explicitly clear that she had some matting on her head and requested that they best be brushed out AND that the hair be long as possible. The lady indicated that she would try her best to get them out. However, when I picked up my dog, I was horrified to see that her entire coat had been shaved entirely. Not only was this not what I requested, it was also not communicated to me beforehand. I understand that sometimes it is necessary to shave a dog due to matting, but in this case, it could have been easily avoided with proper communication and attention to detail. We specifically mentioned that we only wanted the matts trimmed. To make matters even worse, my dog came home with razor burn and was bleeding slightly on both ears. This is completely unacceptable and reflects a lack of care and professionalism on the part of the groomer. I am extremely disappointed with the service my dog received and will not be returning to Doggy Day Grooming in the future. Furthermore, I do not understand why we were charged the price of a doodle groom, which is a more expensive cut at $90/$100, if the groomer seemed to take the easy way out and only shave my dog. I hope that in the future, the grooming staff will prioritize clear communication with clients and prioritize the safety and well-being of the animals in their care.

Loved this place. Besides the reasonable price and convenient location, the groomers were extremely nice and cut our dog exactly like we had requested.

We've been taking our pups to Doggy Day for years now. The staff is so friendly and treats our dogs like their own. Jamie always does a fantastic job with their cuts!
