Came to get a new mower after my old one broke down and immediately found the perfect mower! Great price and has been working just fine for this summer.

Home Depot no longer cares about Veterans?I’ve almost never left a review for a retail store before, but today I wanted to call out a problem I’m seeing at this Home Depot in hopes that the management here may reconsider some recent changes they’ve made.1) Veteran Parking space are no more. It seems they have been replaced by online order pick up spots at this location, or removed entirely. I used to come to Home Depot specifically over competitive stores because of things like this, but it seems those have gone away.2) Veteran discount pricing now requires you to download the Home Depot app. It used to be, as it is in many other retailers, that showing a military ID was enough to prove your service and retailers would provide military discounts as a thanks for service members. However, now Home Depot refuses to provide the discount unless you download their mobile app, make an account, give your personal information away, and only then you’re able to pull up a QR code to be scanned to apply the discount. The second point especially was the last straw for me. I am not going to download an app for a retailer ever, especially one that adds no value to my brick and mortar shopping experience. Home Depot clearly no longer cares about Veterans and has showcased this by the above points.I hope this is a local issue to this store, but at checkout the clerk told me the manager is forcing them to no longer bypass the app and I can only assume that comes from district management, area management, and likely corporate as a whole.I’ll be taking my business elsewhere for now on, and telling the military families I know to do so as well.

They let the contractor rip-off the person, and won't do a thing about.

I had a terrible experience with trying to return an online purchase in the store. I initiated the return with customer service who said they needed approval from the specific department. The department associate refused the return since this was a mixed paint product. That said, I was unaware of any necessary mixing as I purchased the SKU online... which showed 10 units of the specific part number on hand. After a few minutes of back and forth discussing the situation, the clerk rolls his eyes and tells me that everyone who returns an item has a "reason" (duh... why else would they bring something back). He said he needed to pull the manager into the conversation. Everything went further downhill from here. I explained the situation to the manager (I ordered 40 gals online but only needed 35) and that I'd like to return the last, unopened container valued at $220. The manager then refuses the return due to the cost and states this is the primary reason they will not accept the return. I told the manager I understood that I unknowingly over ordered but the return was maybe 12% of the total purchase price. The manager proceeded to tell me that it's my fault for over ordering, it's an expensive item, and they will not accept the return. I expressed a few very assertive, choice words and left. I will never go to Home Depot again.

My last trip to Home Depot was really worthwhile. I needed some 60 watt energy efficient light bulbs and HD had a great 6 pack. Also purchased a large bottle of Dawn and anti bacterial hand soap. Add some paper towels and my total came to $40. Compared to Lowe's where the light bulbs were nearly 40 dollars Home Depot gave me a lot more for my $ money!

I came after finding several light fixtures I wanted were available at this location with in a 100 mile radius of me. The folks on the light department were very helpful. They were not on the shelf m, but with some minimal searching the elusive fixtures were found on the top shelf about 20 feet up. They retrieved them and I was on my way. In these days sometimes you have to go the extra mile to get what you need and/or want.

After countless times of letting customer service and managers no what was going on with my orders. Long as they made the sale that's all they really care about at this Fuquay Varina Home Depot. I recieved my washer and dryer today and the wrong one still delivered. At the end of day is about the service not the money you spend. That keep people coming back. It's the people and management in store not Home Depot. They have great products it's the employees that facilitate a inviting environment.

If you've been here you already know. Worst Home Depot on the east coast. Can't wait for the Lowes to open up the street.
