Going here for years. Never had any problem, on time for apt., etc. Mr. Pleasant is awesome in every way! He genuinely cares, is extremely knowledgeable, answered all questions, & makes you feel very secure in the process of doing your taxes, & is very personable.

If you get scheduled with Jeannette Gonyo, cancel the appointment and run!!!!!!! My mom had been trying to get her taxes done here, and was given an appointment with her (unfortunately, but we didn’t know at the time how horrible she was). She told her to come back twice after being unable to complete the return in one appointment. The third time we came into the office to complete that ONE return, she wasn’t even there, and her coworker tried to find the return to review it with us and submit it but it HADN’T EVEN BEEN STARTED YET IN THE SYSTEM OR ON PAPER. How many appointments does it take to complete one return????? And she lied and told us it was done and ready for payment and submission to the IRS. Keep reading, it gets way worse. Her coworker said she would do the return for us and apologized about it not being done despite two weeks of work. My mom called today to make sure all her W2 and other tax documents were received by the coworker, and Jeannette answered and proceeded to YELL AND BERATE my elderly mother for “lying” to her coworker. She made up some excuse as to how the return was missing when we went in for the third appointment she scheduled us for, and continued to yell at my mom and said she wouldn’t finish the return and she doesn’t want her coworker do it either. Clearly, she has no care for our taxes or if we get our return filed to the IRS like dutiful citizens and as H&R Block claims to care about. If this location wants their customers not belittled and yelled at, if customers want their taxes done in a timely manner (within one or two appointments), and for this location to comply by the H&R Block standards with the IRS (some tax information Jeannette told us her coworker said was incorrect), fire Jeannette Gonyo ASAP. If you want a hostile work environment, scared customers, and incorrect tax returns which results in endless audit work for the office, keep Jeannette there! Have a great day and avoid this location at all costs.

Unprofessional, disorganized, and incompetent. This place needs to be removed and replaced from the roots of the brick and revamped-ground up. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Thank you, next!

Customer service is really bad. No one picks up the phone, during their “open” hours. Goes straight to those sitting in their basements making these appointments.The website sucks too. Made an appointment for 5pm through their back office support staff. , got a text confirmation. Went on the account on website. There it says 3pm. Called them next day during their “open “ hours. No one picked up the phone. Then had to drive 30 minutes to get to their office. There was no one on front desk. Just a sign ‘take a seat, we’ll be there with you shortly .” No wonder my call went on voice mail. Atleast the one tax pro in office should redirect calls to her desk so customers can get some real answers and don’t have to drive an hour to get a confirmation for an appointment.Had a phone appointment earlier after uploading all my tax documents, I assumed this appointment was to finalize the return. The lady had no idea who I was and what was the status of my return. That was 3 weeks ago. Still waiting to hear back from her with the completed return. Maybe she went on a cruise with all the tax commission they make off of each client.

The best at taxes. I have tons of K-1 income. Switched from my CPA to HR Block and have seen a huge payoff. Figured I switch because all they do is taxes. And I was right. Thanks again!

I scheduled an appointment to see a tax professional regarding a question that I had about filing NC state taxes when my husband is active duty military and we are legal residents of Florida. When I arrived, the front desk lady was not friendly at all to begin with. Then an older gentlemen proceeded to ask me questions in front of other customers in the main lobby area so everyone could hear my personal business. He was extremely rude, unwilling to help and spoke to me in a demeaning manner (all of this taking place in front of other customers). I will not be returning to this H&R Block again.

First of all very disappointed because I called last Wednesday on the February 9th 2022 I called the fuquay h&r to talk to somebody before console or no longer having a business and they said they were going to call me back today is February 13th of 2022 and nobody has returned my phone call at all so I'm very disappointed in h&r fuquay varina as of now
