“The people that work here are friendly. They have the best prices for meat that I've ever seen and the cuts are superior as well. You can cash your check here. Very English and Spanish friendly. I would recommend this place anytime.”

“Why 4 stars and not 5? Because as previously stated I have yet to find a perfect grocery store, but I am glad that over the last year or so they did a lot of upgrades. I had stopped coming here for a while because I couldn't take the smell but as stated they have done a lot of upgrades and renovations. It has a more modern and up to date look but still that down home community feel. Their meat prices are really good and the size/portions would not disappoint. They've added a section in the meat Dept that showcases seafood and meats like some of the other grocery stores and they have a butcher on hand if you have a request. The staff through out the store are always friendly and willing to help. Now let's get into their deli, hot bar and desserts. On lazy nights when I don't feel like cooking I'll swing by to pick up their fresh hot fried chicken, which is delicious. I don't usually get any sides bc there's been times where they look like they've been sitting out all day, but overall their chicken and pork chops are a big hit. The deli section has pre made subs, salads and cold sides. Their subs and sandwiches are humongous lol. My husband and dad purchased one of their sandwiches but I promise you that sandwich weighed a good 6 lbs lol. It had about 3-4 different kinds of deli meats, cheese, lettuce and I want to say tomato but I could be wrong, but I know it was a hefty sandwich for under $6!! Their 8-9 layer chocolate cake and pineapple cake are big hits in my home. Anytime my parents come to visit I make sure to grab one of each. If you're not ready to purchase a whole cake they also sell it by the slice and as half cakes. They also make homemade pecan pies along with other goodies. If in the area check them out!”

“The store is bright and clean and the associates are really friendly. I got a smile and "good morning" from everyone I passed. I was asked if I needed help finding anything (I did ), which I always appreciate. I will be doing my shopping here from now on!”

“I moved to this area fairly recently, and shopped in Harris Teeter approx. four times. I found the checkout staff very friendly, and helpful, so I have no complaints. I just need to shop there more often so I learn the layout of the store.”

“Actually went in here due to Starbucks.. but from the looks of it store is nice and clean. They have something called Vic specials.. Also they have someone cleaning baskets off for your using due to COVID, which is great ( unwanted germs). Store just seem like you can find all your grocery needs without the crowds.”

“I love this store ... I kick myself whenever I go anywhere else because I know I'm going to pay more if I do. Food Lion definitely is the cheaper place to shop. It's clean and most of the staff is pretty friendly. As for the high grocery prices someone mentioned, I'm not sure where they are from but welcome to the higher cost of living in Wake County ... But if you want to save money, you really can't do better. Yes, the Harris Teeter is nicer and I believe their meat and produce selection is better, but otherwise I'll do most of my shopping here.”

“We entered the store it appeared clean but lacked sufficient carts. Many people were going back out to the parking lot to retrieve their own. Most everything that we were in search for was in stock. The cashier was meticulous about bagging our order. Good experience overall.”

“This Walgreen's is one of the pharmacies providing covid vaccinations. They weren't doing a list but if you called after 7 pm, there was a good chance of getting a leftover shot that would need to be disposed of if it wasn't used. Super easy to call and speak directly to the pharmacy. I wouldn't recommend using the online scheduling since that is another story and it was difficult to schedule unless you were in one of the priority groups. If you are having any trouble getting scheduled for a vaccine, I would say give them a call and try the "end of day" shots. I was able to get fully vaccinated in March by using them for end of day shots that would have otherwise gone to waste.”

“Within 12 hours of transferring files from another big pharmacy name, my current refills to pick up showed in texts with correct amount due, not easy since I have 2 insurances frequently confused. The Walgreens pharma women handling my new account are kind, listen carefully and are responsive- unlike today's tendency of disinterested services neither bothering to listen much less respond appropriately. Clearly they read carefully and know their role well too. Since this is a new account I reserve one star, but apply four because getting the start right is a big indicator from past experience. Thank you Walgreen's Staff- you deserve more reviews like this. I look forward to turning over this important aspect of my life.”
