Good honest guys. They are on rotation for highway patrol and towed my Elantra after an accident. They went through and got all my stuff out of the totally mangled car for me when I was in the hospital, and were very easy to communicate with. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. They made the best of a bad situation for me.

I needed to have my headlights 'defogged' (they were really cloudy). Jacob did an amazing job....the lights look like new! Darryl gave me some additional good advice about car care, then got me checked out quickly and on my way.Everyone I encountered was courteous and professional. I can see why their business has been a part of F-V for so long. I'd certainly take my car there again.

I had Tilley paint a new in the box set of 1/2 doors for my Jeep When I dropped them off they took the VIN from the Jeep and then proceeded to use paint chips to match it which seemed a bit odd to me. 60 or so days later they finally called with them finished. Once I installed them it was obvious that the paint was no where close to the Jeep itself, not at all. After emailing with the owner he claimed that since he did not have the Jeep itself to use some special camera for the matching process that it is what it is. If the camera is the proper way why was it not used the day I dropped them off? Or call me to run by to do so? Waste of $1000 and now I have to spend it again to get a proper paint job elsewhere.

Bought a new car in September so it could live in the garage with the remnants of my hobbies that have gone to die, some tools that I don't really know how to use, a motorcycle that I don't ride, and an extremely active teenager's bicycle. Said teenager scratched the car with the bicycle and I was left getting estimates for repair from several local shops. Tilley Bros. was my first estimate, and made an appointment for me and the repair that was about six weeks out (and I would have deducted a star for this, but I need to balance out the foolishness that I've read for people upset with this business after being called to tow their car after getting a DWI!).Rae, stated that this is a family run business that she helps her father Daryl with. They told me that I could shop around and they would call me when it's closer to the date of my repair to confirm it. I price shopped and Tilley was 1/3 of what Caliber, and Gerber were charging! They were also less expensive than the family run shops in the area, and had better reviews, so I was definitely waiting to give them my car, and I'm happy I did.My car's paint was difficult to match, and they did a phenomenal job matching, and blending the paint. They also had it perfectly seemless and even with the damage that was initially done so that you could no longer tell where the issues were. They kept my car locked up and inside of their shop once it was done (it's one of the top stolen cars in the country) to keep it safe. They moved my belongings from inside the car and placed them into the trunk with care. They treated me with respect and fairness. My experience was not perfect, as I wish they could've gotten to the car sooner, and a couple (like 3) dust specs in the paint. My experience, however, was "damn good," and I'd be happy to bring my car back here in the future. The family even followed up with me about some racing stripes and offered options with explanations of the pricing for each. They weren't trying to make a sale, but they wanted to educate me and I appreciate that. You can't find this kind of experience everywhere, and you'll learn that once you try to seek it out. Thanks!

The man that towed my truck was very professional and empathetic. It was late for our area, and no one else was willing to complete the task of towing my wreckage. Within minutes of being dispatched, my vehicle was loaded and hauled away to a secured location. I will always recommend Tilley Brothers for anyone with towing needs within the vicinity.

I was very please with their work. Darryl is a pleasure to deal with! I have an older Acura with over 195k miles on it. I did some minor damage to my bumper/fender area. I went to several body shops and they all told me I had to basically replace the bumper and repaint which was between $3000-$4000. I didn't want to put that kind of money into a vehicle with that many miles. I was referred to Tilley Brothers and he was able to fix it without replacing anything except a bracket and was charged $190. Great to see that there are still honest repair/body shops around!

I wanted to give this shop a good review but unfortunately, they are all but caring when it comes to how long they take on repairing a vehicle. I was told that I could drop my car off on the 11th of April after I got an estimate for the back bumper. While I was dropping the car off for the back bumper I had also requested they repair the front bumper as well. I had gotten a quote a while back but was unable to drop off my vehicle due to an issue with money at the time. An unexpected event had popped up in my life that required me to have to put the repairs for my front bumper on hold. Since it isn't a huge deal and it's mainly cosmetic unfortunately my car got hit while I was parked in a parking lot and I had to get the back bumper and light repaired so since I already had a quote for the front I figured it would be easier to drop my car off here since they would be able to do the front and the back bumper as well as the light. I was given a 3-4 day repair time for both the front and the back bumper and light. On the 3rd day(Friday 14th) I got a call from someone at the shop saying that they completely forgot to do my front bumper and that it would be done on Monday 17th I figured the weekend would be enough time to fix it but apparently not. Since I got no follow-up call or anything telling me the status of it. So I decided to stop by on Tuesday to ask about the progress of the repair and there is my car sitting outside the shop with the front bumper off of the car. I had to borrow someone's car that has a check engine light on since I wasn't able to afford a rental car for an entire week. I was going based on the initial 3-4 days they told me. They were generous enough to have given me a $66 discount off of a $2400 bill making the total marked up a $66 fee. The back bumper looks fine but the front was rushed you would think a repair job that costs this much money would have been done better,,, They only care about how much money they're making.

I am very thankful for Tilley Brothers fixing my car! Their price is very reasonable and Daryl is very friendly to work with. I will definitely go back and recommend them for any body shop need!

Terrible!! SCAM!! These are some Greedy Folks over here. Their towing fees are ridiculous and they aren’t transparent with you with their pricing. It changes from their initial quote. The first time and second time we went to pick up the car they told us in person that they were closed (even though their website says otherwise) so we couldn’t pick it up and they could charge additional storage fees. It’s half the price to get a tow from North Raleigh to South Durham from any of the other towing companies then it is to get a 10 mile tow from these guys. $225 towing fee plus a $75 labor fee plus a $85 administrative fee plus a $50 special equipment fee for a 10 mile tow. When we called to find out the price the receptionist told us $300 which was already too high. Then when we called back the owner said it was actually $535 and the receptionist misquoted us but he would be “kind enough” to take off $100. So I went there in person to confront them in their lies and they brought it back to $300. How is this even legal?

Took my 2022 BMW for repair due to a piece of concrete that stuck the hood and A pillar while on the highway. Paint match was perfect, ding and scrapes removed. Car looks as it did when new. Daryl and Rae are polite, respectful and did the job for half what a competing shop was charging. Really nice people who do fantastic work.

My experience, your learning opportunity. $50 / day for storing your car. Totaled Car ended up being on the lot for about 3 months because insurance wouldn't salvage it and I had other issues going on. It racked up massive fees which I didn't know about-- $5000 by the time I called. $50 a day. I was told to either pay or bring in my cars Title. So I talk to Daryl let me have the car to at least sell it for parts (it was only 6 year old car), and he says sure you can have it. For $1500. There's no other way. And that's it. I paid to have my own totaled car back and sell it for parts. Not once during the 90 or so days the car was racking up fees they called me and said "hey, your broken car is taking up space in my lot, please take care of it ASAP or I'm going to continue to charge you $50 a day....Oh yeah we charge $50 bucks a day to keep car at our lot" I really didn't like the intentional miscommunication. When I asked Daryl why they didn't call me this whole time. I got the good 'ol "it's not our job". Ah. I get it. It's not your job to inform when someone is racking up massive fees that they were never told about. Silver lining: They're doing what they can to get totaled cars from people for the parts and passing that discount onto the customers who do have repairable cars. I hope so anyway. Do I think they can communicate better with their customers? Absolutely. What did you learn from all this? Storage fees exist and are massive. Probably better to have full auto coverage than to go through this bs. Call shop sooner that later.

I am so very grateful for the Brothers repairing my vehicle, better than brand new I think ? it's beautiful and drives like a charm. My agent said it were a blessing in disguise that it didn't go down the street where the people were rude. And unprofessional.I can't thank you enough for your kindness and hard work ❣️

Unfortunately I can't recommend this shop. The paint work was good and acceptable but fit and finish as well as error when installing parts is what I'm not happy about. Normally I would give a shop a second chance to correct mistakes, which as a former GM mechanic I'm fully aware that mistakes do happen, but I don't trust the shop now due to poor workmanship and I don't want them touching the car again.-The fender was misaligned to the door with a larger gap than the other factory fender. I'm assuming an aftermarket fender was used but the fender could be aligned much better, at least better aligned to the door.-Plastic trim above the fender was popped out and had a broken clip and missing another factory clip. Surprised it didn't fly off when driving down the road but this caused a noticeable wind noise while driving.-Random bolts and plastic retainers were left in the cup holder. Haven't figured out where these are from yet.-Hood trim near the firewall wasn't reinstalled. Not that big of a deal but still was missed.-The technician glued a plastic panel under the hood back together instead of installing a new one. Either the trim was damaged during removal by the technician or during the accident.-Plastic under the bumper came loose on the first drive causing a wind noise and wasn't reinstalled correctly.-The work order sleeve was left in the car as well as mud all over the kick panel door trim from the technician getting in and out. Not a big deal but should have never left the shop like this.-Had to call to check when the car would be ready after 2 weeks without much of an update (was quoted 4-5 days). They said it would be ready at 2pm that day and I said I would pick it up the next morning but when I arrived they were still trying to install plastic retainers in the fender liner when I arrived.-Was called 1 week after dropping the car off and was informed that the technician thought they could buff out the damage to the front valance instead of painting. Was told this would save me approximately $300 but after coming home and looking at the original quote they ended up charging me for painting the front valance. I could go back and have this corrected but I don't want to deal with them anymore. Most of these are not that big of a deal and I would never leave a review if it was just one or two things, especially errors that I can correct without much hassle such as mud or leaving something in the car. However with so many mistakes on one car, even a cheap beater car, this is unacceptable and as a former technician I would not be happy in the state the car left the shop. I'm going to go through the car and fix everything myself and find a new body shop in the future.
