Goodwill Industries of Eastern NC, Inc. (GIENC) is a typical Goodwill thrift store with a nice variety of clothes for the whole family and lots of clothes and household items. It offers great stuff and great deals, with name brand, high dollar quality at heavily discounted prices. This includes furniture and wall decor at good quality prices. The store is well organized, with color-coded clothes and well-sorted bins, though some note that baby and toddler clothes can be unorganized. There is a great book section. Not many toys are available, but electronics are tested before sale, with outlets to test them in-store. The staff works hard, is friendly, amazing, and fun to converse with, providing friendly service. Customers note that the store's challenges often come from other shoppers who leave items disorganized or make donations outside of business hours. The location is a usual place for donations, and customers enjoy shopping there for its clean and quick experience and great buys.
A pretty sad and depressing Goodwill. Almost nothing is labeled, not even the sizes for the clothes (which is 80% of the store), and a lot of the merchandise isn't priced. There's a list at the beginning of the store, but with everything individually different, I don't see how that helps.

Donation area has dedicated parking a few steps from the door. Inside a nice staff member is present to help drop stuff into bins.

The items are not individually priced, but there is a standard price list posted at the front of the store. This location also had a few bins near the back of the store, piled high, but I did not attempt to look through them. The gentleman at the register did explain the pricing, answered our questions, and was very kind.... read full comment
