They can't count money correctly. They can't count rolls of coins correctly. How do you get to be in charge of money and can't count change? Everyone here needs a lesson in customer service and a grade school math skills refresh ? she told me I was holding up the line..... and there was no one in line behind me..... she just can't count.

Make sure if you’re opening an account or have specific questions you don’t rely on answers from Sulmy Tello (banker). I would specifically talk to the branch manager. After talking to her and getting the answers we wanted/needed. It has now came full circle everything she said was incorrect and we immediately closed our account.Although super nice the bank manager was unable to assist in the matter stating his hands are tied and he has no way to make overrides. If you are one that is wanting funds same day or at least for the bank to call the other institution to confirm funds are available- DON’T BANK HERE.I’m all for people making mistakes or miscommunication but this banker didn’t even acknowledge the concern. Although she didn’t recognize me, she suddenly recalled our in person conversation from 2 months ago.

Open new account. Walk in with noappointment or contact. Was seen after short wait, and she had a new checking and saving account set up within 20 minutes and answer all my question. Other staff members help me with regular retirement deposits, ordering checks and on line banking.

Since the merger of SunTrust and BB&T, I have had more problems with their technology and some serious errors on their behalf concerning my finances. They have a long way to go to earn my trust back. We are considering changing banks.

Takes forever!!!!! They are always messing up on deposits, and never have correct/enough change. Always have to wait on someone else. It has gone down hill in the 5 years I have been coming here

Had $4000 taken from my account that i didn't authorize NOR did I have the money in my account so now its negative. How does this happen?I was told by the bank supervisor that if you have a routing number and account number from the bottom of a check ANYONE can do this.Even though its still pending the bank still cant stop payment even though they know its not authorized.This is the banking practices of the new and improved Truist bank?

I have an auto loan with Truist and decided to open a checking and money market account to use them as my primary bank. Less than a week later I’m already switching back to my old bank.The young lady who opened my account was excellent and this review is not a reflection of her.Truist as a bank is horrible. They decided to reverse payments on my auto loan from 3 months ago and charge me a fee of $50 because now the account is past due. No one at customer service can figure out why they were reversed to begin with as the account information is verified and valid.Everytime you Zelle a payment, be prepared to have to call their fraud department. Safety is great, but waiting on hold for 45 minutes to send a Zelle payment under $10 is ridiculous. I’ve made 4 Zelle payments and 3 of them were flagged by fraud and I had to call each time to get my account unlocked.Also, they hold checks for longer than other banks even if you have enough funds in your account to cover the check. I’ve spent hours on the phone with them and have not resolved any of the issues I mentioned. As soon as they release the hold on the tiny check I deposited I’m closing these accounts. Unfortunately I’m stuck with them for the loan but it just gives me incentive to pay it off early, provided they stop reversing my payments and charging fees for errors they are having at the payment center. DON’T BANK HERE.
