“Quick and convenient but watch out for the prices! No telling how many times I over paid! 2 for 4 on door, 2 for 5 at register. Cashier adjusted price but only when I caught it. Other than that I like the store.”
“A nice place to stop during the daily routine or a once-in-a-lifetime stop.
The place has a decent fuel price and a large selection of food and sundries available. My favorite is that they have fresh coffee 24/7.
My negative is that this place is rough around the edges. My guess is to NOT blame the employees as they were aggressively welcoming customers as they came in the door while serving other customers. Even while I was doing self-checkout I was greeted again by the female cashier.
It is just that wet floor signs out on the floor, dirty counters with spills, and trash from recent customers left on the counter. Many slots for creamer were empty and if the plan is not to refill them they should be discarded.
Trash is visible like a wrapped sandwich lying under the water fountain.
This would have been a 2 or maybe a 3 star review but the two female cashiers were very busy and yet continually greeted and interacted with the customers.
I wish corporate would hire more help and not use the excuse of nobody wants to work when the truth us the employees most likely do not get paid for the work load they are expected to do.”

“Coffee is good, not what it used to be and don't under any circumstances order the food. There was a time when I would have recommended it to anyone but not any more. Poor quality and shamelessly over priced.”
“Wake Mart food literally never disappoints. Although I’m sad they got rid of the chef salad, which is what I went to get. But I ended up getting a chicken quesadilla- all the way, no tomatoes. It was delicious. All melt-y and hot! Fries were fresh. Best to call ahead but this came out very quick, while I was on lunch break.”

“Great employees and store is always clean. The only thing is this dollar general needs to get ice like all the other ones. You have a lot of people that go out to lake or goes up to hanging rock or even does events in the area but we have to drive to walnut cove or Madison to get ice. I hope they will eventually get some ice there.”

“I stop here quiet a bit. This is my favorite store to stop at. The cashier always h1ing after another. I appreciate you hard workers with always having a positive attitude. You don't see any place of business anymore, where all employees work together on making their business a welcoming place to be and making sure customers have what they need and are satisfied with their purchase. “Quick, easy, clean, and great prices! Everything you want in a gas station! They also have a drive through area where you can get typical gas stations purchases like cigarettes and snacks. It's great because you just drive right through and never need to get out of the car to go into the store. This is especially nice when you have several kids that are in car seats like me.”

“I love that this place still exists in a world of automated car washes!! I do HVAC, my truck with ladders won't go into those auto washes...and even if it did there's no way it could clean as well as me at this car wash. The coin machine is always working and stocked. Plenty of machines with things to buy to clean your car. Vacuums always work. You can always find a empty bay there, bc most people go to auto washes now.”
“Its no longer really called abes but it will always be known as abes. This place is good have good food to eat, gas prices not to bad friendly cashiers the owner is pretty cool. Go see what you can grab from the mart they have some good selections.”

“Exxon gas station provided a convenient stop for fueling up my vehicle. The fuel pumps were clean and well-maintained, and the process of filling up was quick and hassle-free. The prices were competitive and in line with other nearby stations. However, the restrooms were not up to par, lacking cleanliness and supplies. Additionally, the convenience store lacked a wide variety of snacks and beverages. Although my experience was satisfactory for obtaining gas, improvements in cleanliness and store offerings would enhance the overall customer experience.”

“The store is well organized and clean . They keep the parking lot clean and most of the time the water and towels to clean your windshield at the gas pumps are full as well. They have a working machine if you need air in your tires. The staff is friendly . The only downfall is the lines . Sometimes you have to wit in line longer than normal. But overall a great place to stop and shop.”
