“They're a little pushy about the membership when checking out, but the employees are nice enough. Saying we dont live nearby and don't travel here often should drop it. But instead they just push on, not taking the hint, about their online shopping benefits. If I wanted to shop online for books, you wouldn't be seeing my face in a store.
Our most recent visit we have to tell the girl at least 4 times we were not interested. Once should be enough, twice is pushing it.
Their book selection is great though, they have your usual book store traditionally published, but I've also found indie romance authors who've I've read through KU program whom I know aren't trad published. I prefer BAM over Barnes just for this reason, Barnes is strictly trad published.
They're renovating at the moment, so manga selection left a little to be desired considering how fully stocked they normally are.”
