“I’m from out of state here in North Carolina working. Been having issues with my steering gearbox. I looked all over the place in this area for a mechanic to replace my gearbox. Earliest I could find an opening was two months out. I’ve been gone from my home state Texas for two months already working I can’t go another two months before I make it home. Got referred to these nice gentleman here at Wide Open Throttle, they understood the situation I was in, and the next thing I knew my truck was up on the lift getting fixed. I didn’t realize there were good honest people around like this anymore. They’re quick, efficient, and very reasonable. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the quality of work. They gave me a contact for someone to tow it, and they told me they would be able to look at it same day. Later that afternoon they had already diagnosed the issue and ordered a part. We weren’t able to pick it up for a few days, but when we did they had it completed and ready to go. There was no hassle, the pricing was 100% affordable, and they were super informative from beginning to end. If we lived closer I would absolutely use them for all my car needs! I cannot thank them enough for EVERYTHING!! Oh and I forgot to mention I left my CC there and they found it, called me and are mailing it back.They are my hero in so many ways!!!! “Bruce has worked on two vehicles for me. The first was my Honda civic. I needed the transmission swapped out. I shopped around, and there was no one that could even touch his prices. He was way, way below anyone on price. On the other side, his knowledge and quality of work is top notch. He is a REAL mechanic who's work is his reputation. He also serviced our Excursion's transmission and front and rear differentials, again beating anyone's price. The truck shifts smooth as silk, and drive train noise is now almost nothing... Awesome!! He never tried to sell me anything I didn't need. In short, it is a mistake NOT to go see him. Transmissions are one of the most expensive repairs for a vehicle. I don't see any reason to go pay someone else more money for lower quality work. Thanks Bruce!!”
