“I stopped at the DG in Baton NC. All the sales ad items I was shopping for, was in stock. I use DG digital coupons on the App to save extra money. I know when I shop at this DG, I will find what I am shopping for.”
“As their advertising says. "Good stuff cheap". It might not be the best stuff but for the most part it is good stuff. We go here quite often and buy something almost every time we go. It might not be the cleanest or most organized store but that is probably part of how they try and keep the prices down.”
“Amazingly addictive. Better than Ross or TJ Maxx. For the most part they are waay cheaper, offer the same quality. Some things are overpriced in my opinion, but overall, way better than the competition. A gem to go to. Wish I found them sooner.”
“This place was awesome. I shopped in the bin area for Halloween decorations, so it took some digging around but if you’re patient and have the time, you will find some great deals. I don’t think I’ll shop for party supplies anywhere else now. In the bins they have stuff for legit any type of party you could think of - birthdays, showers, Christmas, anniversaries - balloons, cups, plates, napkins, tablecloths, banners, garlands, etc. The woman who worked there was so nice too - she brought me a bag to shop around with and was helpful when I had questions. Also, the bins that were labeled $1 were actually 50¢ that day! I didn’t even get to the other half of the store, so I’m positive that I will be back again.”
“I've gone to this store for almost 4 years now. The guys there are great! The two tall managers are cool. The fabulous British guy and the care bear are really fun to talk to!. This store seems like a big family when you walk in it's like their home and they treat the customer like an old friend. I will only go to this Dg now and in the future.”
“This location was kind of run down but not filthy. They have a large selection of furniture, especially sofas. I was very impressed with the staff. The associate in the furniture section was outstanding and very helpful. He advised on the sales and what was in stock. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. What I liked the most was the fact that he left us alone after our conversation to shop and try out all the different sofas. Keep in mind, if you buy any furniture, be prepared to take it home yourself as shipping is not an option. The cashier was very engaging and a real treat to talk to. I would go back to this location if needed. I have other google reviews and one may just help you. Follow me and find out!”
“This is my favorite Dollar Tree in the area (Catawba county/Caldwell county). They have a wide selection of craft supplies, beauty supplies and children’s toys etc compared to most. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location!”
“Pros: There's one on every corner. Great for common shopping and for the savvy shopper there are deals to be had. They have a store app with numerous functions.Cons: There's one on every corner. Some local, more rural stores have gone out of business with a DG coming in right beside them. Those great deals are frequently sold out, not stocked, and different stores have different set ups and rules. The app often doesn't work inside the physical store building...very disappointing.”
“I love this new store..they have an awesome variety now bigger store nice and clean, friendly staff but of course u have to wait in line sometimes but it's worth it..we all need to learn to have patience in life and it would make a big impact on all of us..if u haven't been yet take some time off and go there...it really is a totally different store and u will love it to...it's one of my favorites so make it one of your favorites...”
“The people that work there are very nice there was a new girl she was very sweet helped out a older lady to her car and even put it in for her..you don't see people like that anymore..i had forgot to get her name but she has good manners and great customer service”

“Although this place is usually messy and sometimes utter chaos, I do like the fact that I could usually find what I need at a reasonable price. I use the app for coupons for really good deals, however read the fine print. Oh and clip the coupons before you go in because signal is weak in the store.”

“Know your prices before you shop here. They have $5 clearance bins but for the most part, a little bit of everything. Some stuff is higher than Lowe's or Home Depot, and other stuff appears to be half price of what the bigger stores charge. Friendly staff. Staff is willing to open item for you so you can be sure it works before you buy it. Somewhat organized by item type in store.”

“I love this store! It is a great place to pick up dog toys. The Hickory store has so much more inventory than the Lenoir store. It is well stocked and well staffed. The store is very organized. Even though it's not a dollar it is a dollar and a half it's still a great bargain.”

I had to enter the store 3 times. Each time l had to ask a question and interrupt the hard working ladies. Each time l was received with kindness and respect! Also the store looks AMAZING and the restroom was SPOTLESS!

“This dollar general is a NCI home store, which basically means they carry more “home” items such as rugs, kitchen ware, sheets, and decorations. They are always clean and tidy.”

“I recently moved back to Catawba county and wound up with food poisoning, which I had to visit the hospital. The Dr. called a prescription to local pharmacy. That pharmacy (Walgreens) was only able to partially fill my prescription. They aparrently did not see fit to get around to ordering the rest my medicine, and for some reason couldnt have my prescription sent to another Walgreens, which I had to call to see if they even had the medicine.
So I call this Wal-Mart location and spoke to the pharmacist about getting my prescription transferred to them. This was 9:00am 9-18-25. I told him I have to take 4 a day for 7 more days could he try and get it by 11, because I had got the partial on Monday. BAM 10:07 am the pharmacist Cesar Gesundheit, at Wal-Mart calls me and tells me its ready!! I cannot thank that man enough for going above and beyond to accommodate me. I wish I could give them 10 stars. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”
