“Highly recommend this store. Mason was so, so kind and helpful, and walked me through all my options to replace my phone that had suddenly stopped working the night before (need it for work). He didn't just try to sell me the most expensive phone like I've experienced at some Cricket stores, he answered all my questions and helped me figure out what option worked best for me. I'll be going back to this store in the future.”

“This is the last Radio Shack in the area. I've been shopping at Radio Shack since the 1980's when I was just a kid. This one seems to always have the strange parts I'm looking for for a Ham Radio project I'm working on. The owner is very knowledgeable. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is I've had trouble with his staff not being able to help me. Most of the time not even knowing what I'm asking for. But the owner seems to always know what I'm talking about and exactly where it is in the store. I hope this store is in business many many more years”

“I am an electrician and stopped by Hickory CED this past week due to working out of town. I always use CED when possible due to the quality of electrical parts and materials. This CED is no exception. Friendly staff that was very helpful on getting me everything I needed for my repair. This particular CED has a very neat organized, and massive amount of hand tools, power tools, and tools to make an electricians job as easy as possible. It is always nice to be able to view and check out the newest items on the market. This store has put alot of thought into what tools they offer. I have been in the electrical trade for 31 years and these guys have the best of the best when it comes to tools. If your needing electrical tools or material stop by and vist this store!”

“So I went in today stressed out that metro screwed me over, Tevin was so helpful to get me on a good plan and went above and beyond to make sure I left the store with a phone service which I need to make income. I recommend him a promotion by his employer. He at least should get employee of the month since he was patient with us and went over everything there is to know about my new service provider. “In my own opinion - with having worked for Verizon for over a year, they provide excellent employee perks and benefits. Alongside the customer service you see within stores and the willingness the company is to go above and beyond to provide solutions to keep us all connected. In my own opinion I've never experienced any issues with the quality of service on any of my mobile devices. I also would say that by traveling nationwide with the use of my devices I can attest to that.”

They have improved on getting people discounts and price drops and certain offers that can suck in customers, and service seems to be good, just plan on being broke if you come here, especially if you are with a spouse.....”
“A few weeks ago, I found a promotional deal online through the Verizon site for an upgrade on my phone. I placed the order, only to have the order fail as part of a glitch in the Verizon online ordering system. I then spent over two hours on the phone, talking to tech support (that guy was great) and then sales and customer service reps (not so great) to get the same promotional deal re-ordered and hopefully sent to this Verizon store later on in the week. Showed up at the store…and it had just had an electrical fire! Called over the next few days to check in on the status of the store and my order. Everyone I talked to was prompt, responsive, and informed. Unfortunately, the status of the order was very unclear, given the recent fire. I ended up talking to Lauren, the store manager, who had me come in to meet with her to figure everything out. She was able to get me the upgrade I wanted on a great deal, even better than what I had found online. I was in and out in less than two hours, which included all the time to sort through the online ordering issues I had previously had, get my new deal and phone in place, and transfer everything over. Lauren was amazing – knew exactly what to do, was fast, great to talk to. At the same time she was helping me, she was assisting her team with other customers. Keep in mind, she also just had to deal with a fire at her store just days beforehand. I am beyond happy with the phone and deal I got, and I am so pleased with the level of customer service I received. I am coming to see Lauren at this store anytime I need support with my Verizon service!”

“Called in a prescription, automated voice mail said it would be ready 1 week later. I went to the store and Brennan got my Rx filled within the hour. This was an important Rx that I needed for sleep and this young man not only was able to get it filled early but also got me a price reduction that I desperately needed.
