“The YMCA has been a wonderful place for my family, and the youth sports programs are truly outstanding. What makes the biggest difference are the people that work there like Stuart, Walker, and Sloanne. Their dedication, encouragement, and positive energy create a space where adults and kids get the chance to get the most out of their environment. My daughter has not only gotten the chance to learn the game from good coaches, I have also been able to watch her grow in confidence, teamwork, and character. Thanks to them and their help, our family’s experience has been exceptional.”

“The best thing about Malachi house car Wash is that they are doing good work to help people in recovery.The service is quick and adequate. The waiting area is not fancy but it is comfortable. The employees are very respectful. I would suggest you take a good look at your car before you leave just to make sure there aren't areas that you wanted to clean that they missed.”

“We got our sweet baby Bagel in December and he has been such a joy in our lives! I wanna shoutout Justin for being so kind and helpful. A few months after or dog Muffin died, we decided we were ready to adopt. Even though there were other people who were ahead (that ultimately decided not to get baby boy?!?!) Justin told us to be hopeful and that not everyone who applies actually decides to adopt. It REALLY meant a lot to have hope. I will forever be grateful to the SPCA of Triad.”

“I was a resident at the ill fated District on West Market high rise. When the building was condemned in November 2025 by the city of Greensboro I had to move out and was essentially homeless. The Greensboro Housing Coalition stepped in and provided me with a room in a local motel. I was able to stay there until I found a new place to rent. They provided resources for affordable housing along with bus passes and a $100 card to buy food at Food Lion. It took over a month to find something I could afford. When I did find a new place they paid my security deposit and first month rent. The people who worked there were very supportive and helpful. They were genuinely interested in and caring about what I was going through. Without their support and resources I would've been on the street.
My experience with the Greensboro Housing Coalition was beyond the shadow of a doubt incredible and far above any government agency I've ever been involved with. I will be forever grateful for their assistance and was truly blessed by God to have been involved with them.
