“Freedom House Thrift is one of my favorite spots in Greensboro. I have found everything here from dining china and small appliances to books, clothes, and furniture at very reasonable prices. I really like that they use colored tags and have weekly deals because it makes thrifting fun and affordable. The store is always clean and organized, and the staff are kind and welcoming. It is a great place to shop if you love a good find and want to support a meaningful cause!”
“I didn’t realize that there were both a retail store & outlet at this location. The store was clean and somewhat organized. The prices were pricier than what I’m used to in Wake/Nash counties. The clothes had colored tags on them but there were no specials according to one of the employees. The outlet section was a little overwhelming to shop but you get more bang for your buck. The cons were that everything is in wide bins, not organized at all, and some of the items were very worn or had a bad smell. I want to go back when I set aside more time to look and I will definitely bring gloves.”

“I have given donations to this store for years and the staff has always been very gracious and thankful. Today I took a large amount of brand new (with tags still on garment) and gently used clothing and all had been dry cleaned to this location. The staff member was hostile from the beginning and then complained about me having each garment on hangers?. Of course, no thank you from her. A young man came out that was quite nice, but the damage had been done.
I was left feeling pretty sad and mad. From now on, I will take my brand name clothes to another location.”
“I love coming here! I have bought a lot of stuff here. From shower curtains to knick nacks. Pictures to blankets and cloths.Its just like any other place. Sometimes they are packed full of stuff , and other times, it's kinda slim.Either way, I love the staff and the store and their mission.”
“I’m a serial thrifter looking for boho clothes, but it’s sometimes hard to find my size. This store was separated by size and color and very tastefully decorated and CLEAN and had dressing rooms. I walked out with six GORGEOUS boho dresses for $72 (Target, Loft, Old Navy) it’s a small place, but this is the most luck I’ve ever had with boho dresses. There’s 1-2 circular racks of each size, so not a ton. 2 circular racks of kids. I did not see mens, art or books, but I wasn’t seeking those out.”
