Well from my own experience I was buying two items. A cymbal boom stand and a cymbal extension stand. When I received my cymbal boom stand i was excited but, when I opened the box the stand was broken in half. Went back to the store to get a refund and they didn’t even give me the right refund. On top of not having a replacement in stock for me. I hope they tighten up because this was the worse experience I had thus far. I was really looking forward to getting a replacement. ??♂️

Barely better service than the Raleigh location I guess.Items purchased at any GC can be exchanged at any other GC within a return period. The Raleigh GC had 'cleaned' a crash cymbal before sending it to me from an online order, and for anyone who doesn't know what cymbal 'cleaning' is, it's just using acid to eat away the top layer of metal. "Cleaning" cymbals destroys them and makes them weaker.I was left to find my same cymbal myself, no one could be bothered to help. And then when I get up to the register to EXCHANGE this item, the store manager tells me, "well there's going to be a price difference.." since the cymbal was on sale when I ordered it, and was no longer on that same sale. No, it's an exchange. I wasn't returning it and then buying another, but that's exactly what this shady manager tried to pull before I told him that wasn't happening. Then magically, all of the sudden, oh an exchange for no price difference IS possible!Shady people, GC is terrible anywhere you go anymore.

I went to the Greensboro location for my visit. Mark Wenberg from sales was extremely helpful and very patient although the counter was a mad rush. Even though it was a very busy day, he was able to assist me in my transaction with a great attitude and tons of finesse. I ended up with a wonderful Gibson Les Paul Classic that I simply cannot put down. The staff has always been notably helpful.

I go into this location of Guitar Center and get the usual disservice that one might expect from a janky business with little respect for their customers. I go straight to the keyboards and see nothing that I am looking for displayed on the walls. I already have three different brands of keyboards in mind based on what my bestie’s brother (who is worship leader for a large church) has recommended for me. I know that I can trust him in his expertise seeing as how he has been working in music for a great many years.I see this keyboard that fits the brand list. I explain that I am a new keyboardist. Suddenly, this “random guy” comes in and immediately starts playing the most expensive keyboard in the store and I start a minor conversation with him.The thing is that I was extremely skeptical of this person just coming into the store, bypassing everything else, and going straight to the most expensive keyboard that they had, sitting down and playing due to the fact that I had seen similar things occurring in online videos as a way that music places to sell their big priced items to unsuspecting customers who are new to the craft. The thing was that they weren’t expecting someone who was wise to this tactic. Also, I may have been born at night, but I wasn’t born last night. Some music stores use this form of deception to sell big ticket items by luring their customers into thinking that they will use this piece just as fluidly the first time that they play it as efficiently as this “random guy” who has been playing it for years just so that the new person will become disinterested in buying the lesser piece, will become saddened by the fact that they aren’t playing as well as this semi-professional, and will sell the bigger dollar item back to them after the return policy date has passed. Basically, they are looking for that sucker that is born every minute.Anyway… During this minor conversation which I had, the guy attempted to tempt me into buying the piece by using different settings on the keyboard to impress me, by saying, “I would buy this one if I could,” and by saying other things which were meant as being attention grabbers. Now, many would say that this was just a coincidence, but after living on this earth for as long as I have I have the wisdom to say that there are no true coincidences. I will proceed to provide more proof of this. After the employees at the store realized that I wasn’t about to buy the most expensive keyboard in the place and after they figured out that I had made up my mind on buying the one that I decided that I would buy, the guy who was helping me proceeded to start giving me the brush off by helping other clients out instead of myself. I knew what I wanted to buy, but this team member truly showed me how much that they really cared about me as being their customer. After several minutes, a much newer employee came onto the sales floor and the one who had started out helping me ended up pushing me off onto him. The piece that I was interested in was not listed in the store catalog online even though it was definitely in store or I wouldn’t have been able to look at it. They ended up refusing to sell me even the floor model and tried to sell me a brand new one instead. The guy who ended up trying to help me after the brush off tried to sell some expensive used speakers to me even though the newer ones were clearly cheaper. I found this to be laughable honestly because either this newer guy was a dimwit in understanding how money works or he was a well-trained salesman in the art of ripping people off. I tend to lean more towards the side of well-trained con-artist based on the rest of my experience.Anyway… I ended up not buying anything from that store last night, but I did end up figuring out what type of a keyboard that I want. I have no desire to ever buy anything else from this organization and I would strongly recommend that nobody else ever buys from them again. The place should have been named, “Pros at Cons” instead of “Guitar Center”.

Mark is awesome, sold me a black and white badge Ludwig Drum Kit and extra Ludwig accent 12 inch Tom. Kit came with original heads in a box, the heads on the drums were gently played, also came with 3 unopened remo heads for an incredible price. Mark really looked out for me. He is very knowledgeable about drums, and based on what I saw he probably knows a lot more about other instruments. Guitar Center Greensboro for the Win!!!!

While in town , Greensboro that is , made a stop at guitar center to pick up a couple sets of strings for my acoustics. They're acoustic string section was pretty thin. I did end up buying a couple sets to get me through till I go back and order from musician's friend or Sweetwater.

Had a pretty decent selection of Bass guitars but was heavily understocked compared to guitars. Several employees came up to make sure I was good to go and offered help. I would say it’s your typical Guitar Center but it seemed to be a little bigger and better staff than Winston’s store.

Great customer service. Called about a bose speaker, associate checked inventory, set one aside, and had it ready to test when I showed up next day, with the app on his phone to demo. Top notch.

This store was stocked with everything you could possibly need to play guitar. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were a little high, but overall a great place to shop.
