“I ate a yummy salad from the salad bar today. Sorry, I ate it before I thought to take a picture. I also bought some fusion apples, anjou pears and bananas (.49 per lb). I looked over all the frozen items, especially the ice cream. They have the tiny Haagen Dazs containers for $2.19. That's perfect if you want just a taste. Too much of a good thing can lead to carb crash for me. I like the $5 meal days they have Mon thru Friday. I'm putting a photo of the sign but I know you can find details online.”

“I stopped by at this store Saturday morning to pick up some fruits and vegetables on our way out of town on a camping trip. I had to get something out of one of my external storage compartments. While in a traffic slowdown on I40 west of Asheville the car next to me told me one of my storage doors was open. I had taken a few things out at Harris Teeter and forgot to put them back in and close the door. So I called the store (about 4 hours later) and was lucky enough to talk to the store manger. He listened to my dilemma and said he would go out and look to see if the contents of my storage compartment was still in his parking lot. About 15 minutes later he called my back and said he had found my stuff and would hold it until I returned next Friday. That’s service! It’s a tribute to the high quality individuals employed by Harris Teeter.”

“I have been shopping at this store for years and while I enjoy it, I must be honest...This location literally stinks. You can smell the fish market as soon as you enter the front door although the fish market is located at the back of the store. It's really off putting. Once you actually get to the back, it's almost unbearable. The fish odor is OVERWHELMING. How does management continue to allow this to occur? This is the only location where I have experienced this. I don't detect any odors at the other locations. They really need to work on this smelly situation.”

I drive from afar to this location because my local walmart stopped having any open register, and they are all self checkout. I refuse to use self checkout when buying large quantity of products, like weekly groceries because that is what cashiers are for. Unless they are going to pay me or give me a substantial discount I do not see why I should do the job of their cashiers while the actual employees talk amongst themselves or stand there smiling; there were many employees up front just standing by the self checkout. I have not applied to be empoleed by walmart, why are they forcing the customer to do a cashier's job. It is ridiculous that on a Saturday afternoon when most people go buy groceries, they can't have at least one register open. This is not the first time this happens.”

“I had an issue with my bill. I had talked to someone there, and I was told all my medications would be free. I ended up getting a bill for my medications. I called to pay the bill. Michelle answered and immediately saw the mistake. Michelle went above and beyond what her job requires. Michelle went through my medications from last year. She fixed everything that was wrong with how I was being billed, because of Michelle, I went from owing Genoa to having credit with them. Michelle was AMAZING!! We need more people like Michelle in the work force. Michelle, thank you again, you're awesome.”
“So we decided to go to Costco and what a great surprise that it is not crowded. Usually I get anxiety from Costco and it was great to know that we could get in out. Love, love, the southern hospitality at this Costco. We're from California so it's pretty cool to visit other Costco's. We ordered pizza ,a hot dog ,and drinks. There was literally no line and no kiosk to pre-order like California. Our only complaint was the pizza. The cheese was burned and it look like there was little sausages on there. We asked for another slice and we were told that all of their pizzas were like that. However, they did offer us to refund which we declined. We just took the burned pizza and rolled with it. All in all a great experience. Thank you Costco”

This pharmacy team does its job well, and I have had no issues that were the pharmacy’s fault. After reading through other reviews, it’s clear that many people use this platform to complain about things beyond the pharmacy's control or responsibility—whether it's frustration with their own employer or frustration with their own poor decisions, such as choosing to wait in a long line instead of simply checking out at the front of the store (especially when there was no indication they were waiting on a prescription), as most rational people would.

No issues with parking, but there was some minor debris. Signage is excellent. The store is not far from highway 40.
The store was clean and I went directly back to the pharmacy. A check offered to assist me. I found my product and the shelves were organized.
Checkout was smooth by the pharmacist. A very good experience.”
