I've been doing business with BB&T now Truist for about 50 years and have never been so disappointed in the service on Firetower when the manager said he couldn't do a personal loan or borrow against my savings to buy a car, later after I had already financed it with a bank in South Carolina the nice manager Mindy with the uptown office said that wasn't right so she handled the whole transaction for us, thank you Mindy Truist needs to get a knowledgeable manager and loan officers on Firetower in Winterville n.c.

I was not impressed with the customer service from the employees. I let them know I needed to open an account and they pointed to chairs and said wait there. I waited and no one came letting me what or whom I needed to speak with. I finally left and thought I'd try a different branch. Same thing. Customer service was not impressive. Told me me wait in chairs and that was it. No information on who would visit with me. Seems like they should be a bit more helpful.

I never been able to call them. I always have to go in. And sometime it’s hard to come in. The phone line always busy, no body picked up the phone. It happens every single time you call them, can’t be coincidence, not every one has time to come in just for a simple question/task.Nice people to work with tho.

I would give negative stars if I could! Worst bank I’ve ever experienced! They hold your hard earned money for days sometimes WEEKS at a time for NO reason at all! & the bankers are rude and don’t care about the circumstances!!! Bc it’s not their MONEY! Closed my savings account TODAY and closing my checking soon as I get my $$!

Worst bank ever. Every mobile check deposit is held without an explanation. It’s the same payroll check I have been depositing every pay period yet they keep holding it for days. My last payroll check was deposited on the 6th and was said to be available on the 11th. Now it is currently being held even longer for another week. After calling again for an explanation and speaking to a supervisor still no actual explanation just told its standard procedure which is not true. All my hard earned money basically unavailable and I have bills that are due. I am powerless to get my money back. This cannot be ethical what this bank is doing to my checking account.

Posting AGAIN! TRUIST IS THE WORST ! Incompetence on every level..I paid off a loan the first week of June. Should have taken 7 to 10 business days to clear dmv for title. It is now July 3rd NO TITLE. DMV said Truist STILL HAVE NOT sent in the paperwork yet...they sent the title clear paper to me to show the dealer I traded my unit in to showing loan was clear and free. Contacted Truist Headqtrs to clear this up they messed up the paperwork and showed 2 liens!Incompetence..May be clear now still waiting 1 month later !!

No one will answer a phone. You end up in voice-mail HELL! stayed on hold for an hour, no one picked up.?Their drive up window is slow because there is sometimes only one cashier working the lobby and the drive up window. Since it became Truist the service has gotten very poor.

Do not use this bank. I was with Suntrust for years, when I had a problem, they were friendly and helpful. Now , the customer service is terrible. I have been trying to get the same problem fixed for 3 weeks. Do not use this bank.

Amazing service on short notice, even though we weren’t members. Very impressed with this bank.We had originally scheduled a Saturday 9:30am appointment with Bank of America across with street whom we had accounts with. However, Bank of America was not even open for business, even though a sign at the BOA door indicated it was suppose to open at 9:00am. Wife called the BOA branch number (as well as others in line) and could not reach anyone.We saw BB&T across the street and after a quick phone call, they said they were open and could perform the notary service we needed even if we weren’t members. We were very impressed by the courtesy it provides to people of the community and speed of service. Diana F. (of the Farmville branch, floating at this location) was amazing!
