“I do not normally leave reviews on places, but this store really stood out to me. The fly fishing section was great! Jack (I think that was his name, I apologize if I am remembering wrong) was extremely helpful and very welcoming/friendly. He took his time helping me, giving tips, and answered all my questions about fly fishing I had as a new person in the hobby. Even showed me a knot with larger line so I could visualize it. He was very knowledgeable, never once pushed a sale onto me, and overall it just felt like a natural conversation rather than a sales pitch or like he was trying to upsell me anything.
When I got my reel and line, he was happy to set it all up for me, which I greatly appreciated!

“I came into get my in store pickup order and was greeted by Ty in Greenville, NC. I was telling him that I always order online bc I don’t really like going into stores and he told me about the store’s instagram account in which I can see the latest shoe drops and clothing. He was very helpful in every way. Customer service isn’t what it used to be so I am very glad to see great service. I’ll be coming back to the store to shop soon.”

“I came in for one specific reason. You had a pair of camouflage Thinsulate gauntlet style hunting gloves. They were on sale for nine dollars. And I ride a scooter in this 20° weather and it keeps my hands warm. The very kind lady that waited on me and ran the register is a keeper. She's very enthusiastic about her job and makes the customers feel welcome. I'll definitely come again for another need.
5-17-25: visited Dunham sports to get my new fishing tackle, got an old rebel lure just for nostalgia because that's what my dad used the 70s and the second cast I caught a bass. I'm excited. They were very helpful and took my stuff out to the car for me because I had limited mobility.”
