“Was scheduled for car repair first thing in the morning. Arrived just before 7:30 am and car was taken right in. Was told that repairs might require the car to remain overnight. All work was completed in 4 hours and the cost came in below the estimate. Very satisfied.”
“On 27 Sept 2024 my Honda Odyssey would not start and I was towed to Uhl's garage, a family run business. The owner Skip came out and did a quick assessment saying that there was no compression and that the timing belt likely broke causing severe engine damage. They were willing to dig in and verify the damage but I asked them if I could keep my vehicle there until I could get a truck to tow it back up to northern Virginia. They kindly kept my vehicle until 9 Oct 2024 when I was finally able to pick it up. They even helped me load the vehicle onto the tow dolly. I expected to be charged for an hour or two of labor and possibly storage fees but they said no charge. I even offered to give them some gratis money which they refused. These folks are the friendliest, honest and most generous repair shop I have ever worked with. If you happen to break down while at OBX, this is the shop you want to work on your vehicle. Thanks Skip and family!”

“We were on our way to the OBX and started loosing air in our tire. We stopped at a TireCity and they couldn’t fix the problem. We stopped at R & R Garage on Caratoke Highway in Powells Point, NC. They were friendly and went above and beyond to help us out. Our rim was cracked and they were able to fix it at a very reasonable price! They explained the problem and how it was fixed and they could not have been more friendly!!! This is definitely a place to take your car to, very honest people!”

Brian could have just done what I asked, BUT he called me and advised not to do the rotation due to some of the wear on the tires!
