“Wife and I were heading to Frisco with our 29' travel trailer when my truck lost power steering and power brakes. I was able to pull into an Exxon and saw a line had blown and all power steering fluid was lost. The workers at Exxon recommended I call Robert at Outer Banks Mobile Engines which was only 1 mile north. He said fill the reservoir up (luckily I had a quart with me) and bring it to him. He had me drop the camper on his adjacent property and looked at the truck immediately. It turned out to be an easy repair, just a busted cooler line, and he had us back on the way within 2 hours. Very honest and pleasant to talk to. We highly recommend Outer Banks Mobile Engine!”

“The best experience I've ever had getting a car inspection! I arrived early as I heard people line up, and there was a bit of a line. But the staff were incredibly fast and efficient. I was in and out in less than half an hour. A lot of places will try to tell you that your car needs a bunch of stuff fixed to pass, and then charge you an arm and a leg to fix it, but not this place. I would definitely recommend that anyone who lives in the Outer Banks use them for their state inspections.”

“Alternator died on vacation, and I had no idea what around I could trust, or where I could leave my car. I called Jesse after doing some searching, and reading the other positive reviews. He answered immediately and talked to me about the issue. He was able to give me a very fair quote to bring the part and fix my issue at the house I am at. He came the next day and replaced my alternator. Problem solved.
