“The best bet we’ve ever had. Staff is very friendly. Doctor is knowledgeable. Prices are great. They always have availability when we need it and we can stop in whenever to get the meds we need. They will run the animals and /or meds out to your car if you need them to.”

“I called, panicked, because my dog had a stick lodged in his mouth somewhere and was shaking, drooling, crying and in so much pain. The receptionists made me feel so much better with how calm and compassionate they were just over the phone. I explained to them how reactive my dog is when it comes to the vet. They allowed him to wait in the car until they were ready for him and when we came in side, they praised him just for walking in the door and getting on the scale. They spoke so gently to him. The nurse was amazing and when the doctor came in, she ignored him and allowed him to stay calm and sniff her when other vets have shown fear and tension towards him. (He’s a 75 pound, bully breed with nothing but muscle.) The doctor and nurse and even the techs were so amazing and I could tell that they really love and appreciate and respect animals and their boundaries. Even when he got growly and nippy, they didn’t even flinch or show fear, just love and wanting to help him. They expressed hope that this experience would help him not be so FEARFUL of the vet instead of calling him aggressive and mean like his actual vet does. I would give 10 stars if I could. They were incredible!”

“This is the best veterinary hospital in the area, period. I have been to other vet hospitals in the area that pad the bills, recommend unnecessary treatments and tests, and charge for unnecessary office visits. I have seen none of these business practices at havelock animal hospital. What I have seen are some excellent veterinarians, techs, and a fantastic front office staff. Dr. Truskey just did surgery on my 14yo rescue dog. She is an excellent veterinarian and one I highly recommend.”
