“Surprised that I'm writing the first review for this well-established local store. I've been coming here for many years for mostly the high quality dog food they supply. They carry several top brands, including Fromms (dog ) and Hills science diet (cat) in my case. They have a great fishing area on the second floor, western themed clothing on the first floor. Lots of stuff for dogs/cats/horses, farm stuff as well. Plants/bushes/trees/grass seed/landscape/outdoor stuff out front. A fudge counter where they make their own varieties of fudge. Basically a general store with a little bit of everything. The staff is super friendly and the service they provide is rare to find these days.”

“Mountain Shelter Humane Society was amazing. I found a dog that was on a mountain rd and I checked with all the neighbors and nobody knew who the dog belonged to. I posted notices around town, and with online pet finders. I was traveling so I couldn't take a dog across the country, and it broke my heart because she was such a sweet dog. I called Mountain Shelter and they were very kind and opened their doors to KIA. I couldn't believe how well taken care of the facility was, and how much they cared for KIA. I am forever grateful to them and I hope that KIA found a phenomenal forever home.”

“We finally decided it was time for a dog. We explained what we were looking for as far as age, size, etc. Long story short, we saw husky being walked by a volunteer, and that was it. He is beautiful and he us now ours.Everyone we encountered was friendly, smiling, and helpful. We know the animals were well cared for because when we brought our new pup back to be neutered, we were concerned he would think we didn't want him and were returning him. However, that was not the case. He was actually excited to be there. He was wiggling his butt and wagging his tail, eagerly greeting everyone, which said volumes about how well he was cared for there. The good news is he was also happy to see us two days later when we picked him up after his surgery.If you want to adopt a happy, healthy cat or dog, this is THE place.”
