I’ve been here for 2 years and instead of rent going down the longer you are there mine has increased. It doesn’t increase by 5 or 10 dollars it’s 50 dollars. I started at 90 dollars and now it’s $250. Do not rent from public storage. You would think if you are a long term good tenant rent would go down!

My storage Unit was broken into. Lock Cut. $6,000 worth of stuff stolen. They said the security camera was pointed in the wrong direction and didn't see anything. I moved out of there ASAP. Your mileage may vary. Make sure you investigate their security measures so you don't get screwed.

Came in for a storage unit, wasn't sure what exactly I needed. Jared was able to help me and point me in the right direction, asked lots of questions and was able to answer some of my own. Wonderful customer service!

Couldn't find what I was looking for at one location. Vicky recommended another location. Contacted Jered, and he got me straight. Both employees were polite, courteous, and extremely helpful.

Jared was very informative about the rental unit and polite.He even showed me how to place my lock on properly. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the unit and property. I highly recommend Public Storage on Tate Blvd in Hickory NC.

I checked my answering machine when I got home from work yesterday to find,I had a message from a Vicki Inscoe that there were ashes there that had been brought back to the office after a storage building had been auctioned off due to lack of payment. I then learned from her that she had been trying to reach someone from the papers and documents that had been brought back along with some ashes. I was so emotional when she told me whose ashes they were.They were my sisters .I had no clue as to why my nephew would had gotten a storage building and left her ashes and important papers . Vicki said she would stay open until I could drive there and pick up the ashes.I cried all the way ,Vicki cried too.She was like my angel that day She is truly such a wonderful person to take enough time to investigate and get these personal belongings back to where they belong. Also to whomever the other stuff went,God bless you for bringing that important stuff back and for bringing my sisters ashes to the office. What a blessing to know there is still some people out there in this world today with morals and values. Vicki Insloe I'm so glad you work at that storage building ,without you I would have never known where my sisters ashes were. I love you for this and thank you so much to the good hearted people that bought that storage building. I pray your lives will be filled with many,many blessings as you guys have blessed me.

Beware of these locations. They do not serve people with mobility issues. No chairs in waiting area. You cannot make an appointment. They do not take cash? Maybe employee stealing cash. NC law states you must accept US currency. US Department of Justice handles these matter on American Disability Act. Filing complaint today for Nationwide against Public Storage. FYI, just check around for storage.
