“I had fun at this place and it helped with the company also. I love going out with my family places. They have someone there teaching line dancing. The bar tender was very hospitable, friendly. And yes it's noisy, but it's a bar so of course it will be. I loved it. Been a while in a bar. But it has a lot of different things to do. Air hockey table, pool tables. Alot of different game machines, very enjoyable. Worth the look see”

“I came to downtown Hickory for one thing, which turned out it closed early. So me and my son (he's a toddler) did some exploring so it wasn't a wasted trip. We found this place has a lot to offer!During our walk we visited Lowe's food park, had Gelato under the Sails, and even the bridge was a sight to see!My son was most excited to see the "Canon" as he called it. He asked "does it still shoot the bad guys!?" ? I read the history plaque to him and of course I told him it could! But honestly idk ??‍♂️ who am I to ruin his imagination. Lolz He still loved it either way!All in all, The Square was awesomeness! It was worth it just to see him light up at something as small as the rocking chairs. LolzSo if all you do is come up here to explore, it won't be a wasted trip!”

“Nice mix of paintings, but the music was far too loud for a museum. When I think of fine art I think of a fine atmosphere, not one that I can't wait to leave. ”

“This is a wonderful event center!

First of all, I was flabbergasted by the amount of rooms this place has in it. I think you could hold literally any event you wanted to here and it would still make sense - a wedding, a birthday, a bible study, lol.

But it's also just very beautiful! We came here because of my cousin's wedding, and it was so perfect. The brick and bar area feel so vintage and fun, and the tall windows were so amazing. The lighting is impeccable! They also had a really cute getting-ready room. I would have an event here, myself, if we lived in the area!”

“We take our daughter here. It is one of the best gyms for gymnastics in this area. The owner and his wife are both excellent coaches, they are Russian. They have trained some very successful gymnasts and I have followed them and their success for a while. My wife also happens to be a former competitive gymnast and she thinks very highly of their coaching. My daughter loves coming here and she has progressed greatly since she started coming. Some people just want to send their kids to do cartwheels, flips, and have fun and although this may fit the bill, the owners take their coaching seriously and they expect you to let them push their students to achieve these goals they set for them. They have to work hard and focus on what they do because they are training for competition. It's just like working out, you're not going to see results overnight, but if they are determined and if the parents will support their kids and let the coaches do their job, you will get great results. Also consider that if your child isn't determined (or cut out for this), or if you as a parent don't support them, your results will definitely not be what they could be.”

“General Manager and staff were all very kind and professional. Recommend for a few nights of rest to anyone wanting some very fair priced accommodations. Mike on the night shift was especially kind when checking me in.”
