“Little back story, I used to do alot of down hill mountain biking when younger and my bike was my life. After a nasty fall down a logging trail in VT, I was forced to take a bit of a break. Still had my bike that held a very sentimental value but it needed some help after the fall. Fast forward, now I have kids who are just starting out with their beginner bikes and felt I needed to get mine working again to be able to show them and to ride with them. I heard about these guys from a coworker, so I packed up my bike and spare parts that have sat around for close to 16yrs. When I brought everything in they said repairs may exceed the value of the bike. At that point due to the sentiment this bike held in my heart and the person who purchased it for me when I was young no longer apart of this world I said go a head with whatever it needs for me to ride again. When I was told it was ready I stopped on my way home from work and picked it up. For the amount of work needed the price was well worth it. I got home and unloaded, hopped on and it was like I never stopped riding. Performed a few jumps and tricks for the kids, road around the property for close to an hour. The bike performed beautifully, so much so, that as we were enjoying the family time a rush of emotions hit me and a few tears came to my eyes. I cannot thank you guys at Bicycle Toy and Hobby enough for the overwhelming joy you have brought to me and my kids for putting up with my insane request to fix the bike. For as long as the business is open I will be there for any of mine or my families bike related needs. Thank you for the dedication you guys put in to keeping these wheels going around.”
