“I rent trucks from this location fairly often for my business. This is definitely not your average truck rental facility. The office is very nice and clean and the same with their rental trucks. I will say, they're not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for, right? The customer service and management is top notch and they really care about their customers! They've even delivered a truck to me before when our flight was delayed! Awesome job guys! Keep it up!”

“I've only ever rented uhaul before but I've been missing out. My experience with Penske and corby was top notch! He went over and above to try to get us an appliance dolly we booked and when he couldn't find one he gave us a credit to make up for it. That's exceptional service you wouldn't find at uhaul. “I am an out of state customer for Caroline Cat. I bought a used 305 mini from them. We did receive the unit with a few issues. But how we were treated by Derek the salesman and his associates was beyond impressive. I cannot get this type of service from my local Cat dealer in Texas. Carolina Cat never pushed back at helping get the issues resolved. Every single interaction with this company from purchase, shipping, to service after the sale is the standard you would hope for. “Quick pick up, lots of room to maneuver. Fast in and out process. They do allow overnight parking at the gate but you must stay hooked. There's room for one or two trucks if side by side.”

“I ordered a DOC for my truck in Houston. I contacted Ryan in parts who was very helpful and helped me get next day air (which is not available by ordering from the website). The next day the part hadn't arrived by the time FedEx was to deliver, so I called Ryan who again was helpful. It turns out the local warehouse had received one shortly after I had ordered it so they sent it from the Houston warehouse instead of Kansas, and then they even refunded the next day shipping...above and beyond. The part arrived about an hour after I called...FedEx is late a lot around this neighborhood come to find out. Will be ordering all my parts from them in the future. Also the road warrior part was cheaper than ordering directly from road warrior...go figure.”
“As the tractor-trailer driver for Great Dane Trailers, I have to keep up with the truck and schedule repairs when needed. I called the Vanguard Truck Center to schedule our Volvo for belts and possibly an idler pulley. My phone call was pleasantly answered (first good sign) by the receptionist who connected me to Paula, the Service Advisor. Another pleasant voice (second good sign). Paula listened to my needs and I stressed I needed a timeframe as this was our only "good" tractor and a previous timeframe experience with another repair shop wasn't very stellar. Paula put me on hold to get me an answer from the shop. She got right back to me (Wow!, no long wait on hold). Told me to bring the tractor in and it would most likely be done by the end of the day (Ya, right, I've heard that one before). Dropped my tractor off mid-morning, drove our old whooped Frieghtliner back-up tractor for the day, and was pleasantly surprised late afternoon when my supervisor said my Volvo was ready. My supervisor likes to "mess" with me so I was not sure if he was serious or pulling my chain. Sure enough, just as Paula had said, my Volvo was ready that afternoon. I gladly put the old Freightliner back to sleep and picked the truck up the next morning. The entire experience from the minute the phone was answered, meeting Paula, and the completed repairs by the mechanics was seamless - no BS, no stalling/excuses, no surprises. I know where my tractor will be getting serviced. Thanks to the TEAM at Vanguard, because it does take a team to work together and make things happen.”

We decided to change the size after we saw the unit we had initially booked and she happily changed it, finding us the easiest unit of that size to access. We also had originally booked our U-Haul truck drop off at another location, but she went out of her way to change it to the location we were already at, saving us a trip. We can’t thank her enough for her patience and hospitality! She was such a bright stop in the stressful process of moving.”

“Our experience at this U-Haul location was amazing. They literally saved us on moving day, as we were a walk in. We reserved a truck at budget down the road, but they didn't have a truck for us when we got there. When we walked into U-Haul, 2 gentlemen were working, and promptly were able to rent us the perfect truck. I was expecting to be gouged, but the price was amazingly reasonable. Don't waist your time looking for any other place to rent a truck, these guys were fantastic”

“I'm a pretty frequent customer at THD depending on the project I have in progress at any given time. This store is conveniently located off I-77 exit 25, not far from Target, Whole Foods and Birkdale. They generally have everything I need in a big box store when I can't wait to receive items in the mail. Of course you pay more, but it is what it is. Staff is always willing to help and I love the self checkout option. Parking is never a problem either.”
