“I visit 5 quarry's on a weekly basis hauling stone for the last four years. Three are Vulcan Quarry's. East Vulcan has by far been more consistent and friendly along with having some of Vulcans best staff. The older gentleman Mitch in the wheel loader has the best tract record of putting the exact amount I ask for. I know loaders have weight devises but operators always put me roughly half a ton off what I ask for. I also don't have a CB in my dump truck and I swear he can read lips. Sue in the Scale house is always nice and smiling and I know I'm not. Ya'll are great! Thanks for that!”

“Nice store, nice folks that work there. If I wrote this yesterday, my review would've been a 2 or 3, but I have since calmed down and put things in perspective. This Tuesday I ordered some bolts I needed after the guy told me he could get them here by Thursday (yesterday). If there was any doubt, I would've just ordered them online and paid for shipping, but he sounded confident. When I went there to pick them up, they hadn't arrived, and he told me the order hadn't been submitted until the day before (Wednesday), and that's why it didn't arrive on time.I realize my order was less than $40 and Fastenal is primarily a B2B company, but it was important to me that these bolts get here on time, since I needed them to put my vehicle back together before going out of town today (Friday). I know things happen and nobody is perfect. All I ask is that if there's a good chance an order will not arrive on the day it is expected, that this is communicated to the customer, no matter how small of an order.FWIW, I was able to find the bolts I needed in stock at a competitor's store, so at least it worked out in the end for me.”
