“On a very cold and extremely windy early morning, I was leaving the Outer Banks and stopped here for gas and coffee. The attendant was very friendly and the coffee (ground and brewed on the spot) was a hot treat on such a miserable morning!Pumping my gas and cleaning my Jeep's windshield and windows were no easy task in that wind, but at least I had a hot cup of delicious coffee and an invigorated start to a 600 mile trip!”

“In the chaos re: Covid shots, at 80 yo and being someone who gets Covid shots, I discovered not my CVS nor my pcp Beach Med was THE PROBLEM- that was go north on 95 and stop at HHS ! Fortunately, my CVS tech advised me which steps to follow to get a script for the shot and when to come back — and she was right - very professional and knowledgeable about this chaos ! I’m glad I have this CVS working so well on my behalf and also working well with my local medical office ! Kudos!”

“The pharmacist, Hunter, at the Kill Devil Hills location is the best I have ever had the pleasure to interact with, and goes above & beyond in every way. Walgreens is lucky to have him, and anytime I see Hunter behind the counter, methodically filling prescriptions in the back, or dutifully answering a barrage of never ending phone calls; I know everything will be okay.
The rest of the staff is great as well. Nick, Jonathon, and Alice are amazing, and extremely helpful. Hopefully Walgreens is able to keep them all happy, so they never leave. They all make the Kill Devil Hills Walgreens location one of the best pharmacies I have ever been a steady customer. They definitely go the extra mile, and seem to actually care about the customer.
I never thought I would love a pharmacy part of a large chain of stores, but Hunter, Nick, Jonathan, and Alice have changed my mind for the better.
I definitely recommend the Kill Devil Hills Walgreens location based on the staff alone.”

“Not much to say about a gas station but here goes. Gas was very expensive on OBX and we were happy to see an HT fuel station as I had points to use. Not much but $.20 off/galleon nowadays isn't something to shirk.We also had to use the facilities and this is where they shined. For a gas station bathroom, this was one of the cleanest I have ever seen in a gas station. A+++ for that alone!”
