“This is by far the cleanest and most well kept convenient store I have ever been in. Even the mayonnaise packets were organized. All of the straws were organized. Everything was nice and tidy, and the lady inside was very nice. I have never left a review for a convenience store, but this for sure got my attention.”

“The Barbacoa was Delicious and so was the Menudo every thing was fresh came back in the afternoon to buy meat from their marketplace the butterfly fajita was delicious and so was the split chicken great meat selection for ur carnezazos .”
“Everyone feels like a star at Star Mini Mart. They will treat you like a king or a queen or maybe a prince-cess. Either way don't be shy, give Star Mini Mart a fair try. They even accept EBT short for Food Stamps.

“I love getting my gas from them its good for my vehicle. But they let people park in gas lanes to sit, gamble inside dnt make them move there car. Which is unfair to gas customers. I like go to the pump facing there door for some reason , but other than owners not making gamblers move out of gas lane for gas customers is my only problem”

“The CLEANEST gas station restrooms I’ve EVER seen. If you’re traveling, shipping or just need a quick bathroom break, this is the best place in Kinston to stop at. Bathroom cleanliness beats all stores, restaurants and gas stations in this area. And once you see it, you’ll know I’m not exaggerating.”
“You walk in for “just a drink” and somehow leave with snacks, caffeine, life advice from a random customer, and enough roller grill items to survive a small natural disaster. The coffee hits harder than Monday morning reality, the fountain drink selection deserves its own zip code, and somehow the cashier is still friendly even after dealing with the guy trying to count out $17.43 entirely in nickels.
This place is basically the unofficial headquarters of Eastern North Carolina. Need gas? Done. Need a midnight snack? Done. Need a hot dog spinning on a machine that’s been working harder than most politicians? Absolutely done.
The atmosphere is peak North Carolina energy — part road trip pit stop, part neighborhood gossip center, part “I only came in for gas but now I’m buying beef jerky and a Polar Pop bigger than my future.”

“Walgreens has been one of my go-to stores since back home in Massachusetts. Whether I need prescriptions, health items, household essentials, or a quick last-minute purchase, I can usually find exactly what I need.
The staff here has always been friendly, professional, and willing to help. The pharmacy team, in particular, has been kind, patient, and knowledgeable whenever I've had questions about medications or needed assistance. That level of customer service means a lot.
I always appreciate how convenient Walgreens is. It's nice to have a place where I can pick up prescriptions and shop for everyday necessities all in one stop.

“The store recently put in all new gas pumps, not sure what day they opened back up, but I have come buy there multiple times and hardly anyone was there , I wouldn't stop because there gas sign said 2.95 reg. 2.66 further down the road.
But I noticed the big gas price sign is still reading 2.95 for reg. Gas, that is the same price as when they shut down to do the new pumps, so I stopped and the actual gas price is currently 2. 66 for reg.
NEED TO CHANGE THE SIGN OUT FRONT, You are driving away your own business to the miniteman down the street, with the 2.95 sign outside.”
“Everything about the Lunch Box food menu is great. The cook can whip up a cheesesteak in minutes that have flavors bursting from start to finish. The only negative I can say about the Lunch Box is the feathers on their delicious fried chicken wings. They should hire a feather plucker.”

“I went in at 1:30 in the morning December 11th and got a really great crispy chicken marinara wrap. The guy cooking even asked if I wanted the marinara sauce warmed up. It tasted great.
Plus the store is bright, clean, and quiet. There isn't some annoying PA system screaming out bad pop music or branded ads at OSHA breaking sound levels.”

“I eat a breakfast here quite often. They have a $5 2 pancakes, bacon, 2 eggs and beverage (coffee for me) that is decent food and filling. Usually the wife takes one of my pancakes, gets herself a drink and a side of bacon and we get out at about the same price as a fast food franchise place. They also have a $5 lunch plate, burger, fries, drink that is decent. The big draw for us is they will serve you breakfast right up till closing at 2 pm so so when we get out late from a Dr appointment or something, we can drop by here and still eat breakfast.”

“People travel long distances to get these cheese breakfast biscuits. There's only two or three places in the whole state that makes them like this, and this one's the best. Country ham, egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese or bacon egg and cheese is the best. The tenderloin and gravy biscuits are good too, and they have good fried chicken sandwiches at lunch.”
“Walgreens is always my go to place when Walmart doesn't have what I need. I only go to Walmart because their prices are lower, but Walgreens always have what I need when Walmart doesn't. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I do not care for the pharmacy and I always have a bad experience. So far, this Walgreens has been the only one that I have not had issues with.”
“Went tonight to get my second COVID shot very good friendly service in and out in no time so glad to get both and have it over with was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to get one had called the health dept right away put my name on list to be called back but never was as soon as I heard Walgreens was giving them I went on line and got an appointment for that same week so much easier glad to have it over and done thank you so much Walgreens great store and service everyone was very friendly and helpful highly recommend them for anything you need always glad to help you”

“Stopped by the Speedway on Hwy 258 South in Kinston, North Carolina, and as always—it was a smooth pit stop! The store is consistently clean, well-stocked, and smells like victory (or maybe that’s just the fresh coffee). Whether I’m fueling up our D & D Pest Control Co. truck or grabbing a cold drink and a snack between termite treatments, this Speedway never lets me down.
The shelves are organized like they’ve been trained in military formation—everything from energy drinks to beef jerky is right where it should be. The staff? Always friendly and fast, even when the line gets long. And the gas pumps? Reliable, quick, and bonus points for the rewards points stacking up.
While we're out battling bugs across Eastern North Carolina, Speedway on 258 South is a go-to stop for us—it’s like a rest area for champions (and exterminators).
