“Nice room with hot shower. Solid no frills service. Not much in walking distance but near some strip malls in a safe area. Definitely good for business travel or visiting someone in the area.”

We called and Danielle Thomas answered and was so helpful and just a breath of fresh air in an otherwise very long, exhausting day. When we got to the hotel, around 4:30am she welcomed us with a smile, kind words, and a comfy clean room. Thank you for answering the phone and accomadating my family of weary traveller's.”

“Mother Lode! Artsy & Nostalgic! Mother Earth Motor Lodge IS the highlight of Kinston downtown! Tho don't be fooled b/c there's more to do/see in this town if you drive around... but lots closes on Sun/Mon. I wish we'd stayed longer and not pushed to go up to Greenville. The outdoor pool was refreshing & at night was fun w/ ambient lights. A short walk to the taproom & order food from local shops for pizza, ice cream, etc... The King Suite was spacious w/ kitchenette for games, snacks & refreshments. It's great that the entrepreneurs converted this 1950s relic motor lodge into a fun, artsy spot w/ modern amenities. Fun for boomer couples, family or friend reunions, or getaways.”
