I pulled something in my back this week and was in a lot of pain. I went to the spa here for a massage. Zach was my massage therapist and from the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable. The spa here is quiet and calming and has a bunch of amenities. Zach was fantastic as well. He explained everything he was doing along the way and just made sure I felt comfortable and relaxed. I felt so much better when I left there. Excellent services, great price point. Will definitely go back.Food & drinks: I’ve eaten here a few times, the chef and service team are top notch! Get the scallops and a smoked old fashion and make sure you save room for dessert.

We opted for a room with a fireplace which was fabulous. We were located next to the water so the view was great. Amenities were over the top and we absolutely loved our short stay. Will come back.

I had a very rough week and needed a last-minute weekend getaway. I found the Greystone Inn through Google, was impressed with the reviews I read, and gave them a call. From the moment I called the whole experience was wonderful! The phone only rang once before it was immediately answered. The girl on the other end was so kind and helpful in getting me a last-minute room AND spa appointment. While I was staying at the inn, I felt like the staff were always one step ahead of me— opening the door for me as I approached, refilling my water before I could even ask, etc. Each staff member I interacted with was so kind and helpful. You can tell this place takes pride in their work and wants to do a great job. Search for the spa at the inn to see the review I left about the spa— such a great experience! Best spa treatment I’ve ever had and felt like the spa staff treated me like royalty. I came to Greystone Inn very burdened down and left feeling rested, restored, and pampered. I will definitely be back!

Room and setting are beautifully picturesque. We got massages at the spa and they were among the best we ever had. The restaurant was absolutely perfect-service, view, and food. The bar was less than desirable. The drinks were fine and the setting gorgeous, but the bar service is lacking; no greeting, long waits, etc.

I came from mia fla with my wife and family,,the hotel and service is spectacular, very clean, great people, the restaurant was very good, amazing food, the manager/host by the name Dwayne was extremely professional and went over and beyond on his service, we are extremely happy with our stay and will come back soon, a 5 star for me.

The Greystone Inn is the most magical spot for a getaway. The staff is warm, welcoming, and provides for every need. The spa is top-notch; I didn’t want my facial to end! Every little touch— from the decor in the rooms, to our picnic set up, to the boat ride on Miss Lucy— is perfectly thought out. We always hate to leave and are counting down the days until we can return!

Decided to have brunch at the Greystone Inn at Lake Toxaway today 11-19-23. Made a reservation by phone the day before. Arrived early but was seated immediately. A very pleasant server named Shayla took our drink order as soon as we sat down. I ask a lot of questions about what was most popular items and her suggestions. Very accommodating, patient and knowledgeable with all food choices.I ordered the eggs Benedict and my wife had the sweet cream cheese French toast. Our food was delicious and the presentation was five star in my opinion. Will be going back very soon and taking guest to enjoy first class food and friendly staff.Nearby activities: Hotel has a stunning view of the lake and offers boat rentals.

Overall The Greystone Inn is a quaint little place that offers a B&B feel but with individual rooms providing privacy for a romantic getaway and providing exceptional customer service from the staff. It's an older location but very well maintained and updated nicely. They have a nice restaurant onsite that serves 3 meals daily and you also have access to the restaurant at the Country Club. A simple search provides even more options. I recommend visiting both the Panthertown Cafe and Grande Old Station during your stay. If you enjoy hiking you should visit Raven Rock Falls; the trail has some challenging sections but the payoff is worth it.Rooms: Well laid out and romantic rooms with great views.Nearby activities: Lots of hiking!Consider the lake cruise it's relaxing and they provide a lot of history on the lake and area. You can rent a boat, kayak, or even fish (and keep) during your stay.Food & drinks: Food and drinks are well made and offer a nice variety.

We recently had our wedding at the Greystone - we used the intimate wedding package as we only had 4 guests. All the elements included in the package were lovely (flowers, officiant, cake, three-course meal in the restaurant, champagne toast, breakfast for the two of us, and use of the beautiful grounds for our ceremony). We got married mid-week and it didn't feel overly busy for our photos around the property. The Rockerfeller suite felt very special and I enjoyed getting ready in there with my small bridal party. Kristin made sure the details were arranged. I would recommend a stay in the greystone for a special occasion.

We stayed here for a wedding. It is a well known famous “old” place to stay. It is only expected that the rooms would be small and they were but ours was clean and well apportioned. The Inn is on a small lake and offers some rentals for boating. The staff is nice and the food is good. I personally would only stay at a place like this for a wedding or reunion weekend- where you are wanting to stay on the premises to visit with friends and family. It is a beautiful location offering golf, tennis and other activities.

We had a lovely weekend at The Greystone Inn over Labor Day. Paulette and the entire staff - from the front desk, to the spa, to the restaurant and bar - were incredibly welcoming, gracious and accommodating. We were there with our two young children and our dog, which can be a recipe for chaos, but everyone was very kind and always ready with a smile. The property is beautiful, the service impeccable and the experience is one we will always remember. We can’t wait to return!

Beautifully well kept inn situated on the lakeshore. The Armstrong room was spacious and comfortable with great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The service was excellent at the inn and restaurant.

You don't need to stay at the resort to go to the restaurant. The restaurant is lovely overlooking the lake. The food is delicious! The service is excellent! The chef will accommodate special requests if s/he is able to. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. The restaurant table settings are first class. Very clean and the prices are very reasonable based on everything I just described. We go every year and I can't wait to go back!
