I recently visited Matt Jones Pottery with the North Carolina Folk Art Society. He gave us a tour of his workshop and told us how he had come to North Carolina to work as a professional potter. His work is excellent, and his place is in a scenic location in the mountains. I would recommend making an appointment before visiting.
