Well, there is a first for everything!! I have been donating to Goodwill for over 30 years and I have never been told that they couldn't take a donation???? I know the difference between donation worthy and throw away worthy, but it it happened today. First, the lady working was rude, but she was more worried about the time, 4:45pm and they close at 6:00pm, so that did not meet her time line. I was not aware that there was a bad time to donate, but now I know, there is. When the person running the place, is inconvenienced and doesn't want to work. We had a full living room set, in good shape, but also an old end table that had some scratches on it, but usable. She declined it?? These items would have been taken by someone and she denied that person, the opportunity to get usable items. When did Goodwill change there policies??? People are not going to Goodwill, to buy new furniture. They are going there to find used items at a good price. They know these items have been used and are perfectly fine with that. I'm not sure the person running this Goodwill, is aware of this and she may have to be retrained. She will not have to worry about seeing me again, because I will never donate there again. I will donate somewhere they appreciate it!

I have gone to this Goodwill since they first opened. I have seen many managers come and go. Most of them have been wonderful people. Currently they have a manager who is one of the most rude and abusive speaking people I have ever met in a public retail store. I have seen her on many occasions YELL at customers to the point it gets quiet in the store and everyone is looking. Made people cry by her loud and offensive talk. She has yelled at us and told us to “get out” when it was time for the store to close. Many people have stopped going to this Goodwill because of her. I know many have complained about her behavior and I really don’t understand why this company allows her to stay in this position. Just be aware if she likes you she will be very nice to you but if she doesn’t it’s hard to tell what she will say. So sad this behavior is allowed to continue….

The manager at the leland store lied to me. I was going to purchase a set of dishes and one item didn't have the price marked. She said someone took the price off, because she had put the price on it. Then she said she couldn't price it, that corporate had to. The sale was going to be around 75 dollars and after she lied to me I told them them without the teapot I was not going to buy the rest. I have had managers put prices on items before. Just thought you should know how I was treated at your store!

Repeated complaints about the same woman (from FB and I agree) "There is a middle aged woman, who is extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. She is never smiling or polite. She is disrespectful to the other workers and shoppers"

Clean, organized, and friendly customer service. Here's a tip if your price tag is written in permanent marker on something you buy- use rubbing alcohol and a soft, dry kleenex to wipe it away.

I accidentally left my bank card and ID card in a donation bag dropped off at this Goodwill. Thank gosh for honest people! Loretta, the manager, called my bank and let them know my bank card had been left in a donation bag. The bank called me after having canceled my card, and let me know that this had occurred and that Loretta had contacted them. I am so thankful as the ID left with my bank card contained my bank account information. Loretta makes me believe in the goodness of people. We have long donated to the Goodwill, and especially this Goodwill, and I will continue to do so.

I love having a Goodwill so close to where I live. I have been going to this store for 11 years. I absolutely love to come in here and spend a good hour and let my imagination take over. I get most of my home decor and small furniture items from here. If I had a pickup truck, a dolly and a trailer, I would be purchasing a lot more! I come here if I need a particular outfit for a costume, important meeting or holiday. I always magically find stuff in my size. I have no shame in buying second hand. It’s better for the environment and it sure saves me a lot of money. The staff is friendly, hardworking and I always meet really colorful customers who I end up talking to as well in store.

I asked a employee why do they write on the items ( plush, plants, furniture etc.) with permanent marker. I was just curious because i notice their the only ones that writes on the items. The employee flipped out and started yelling at me. Very rude. Then she calls the manager telling the manager that I was the one being rude and all I did was ask a simple question . So the manager comes to.the front and I explained what was going on. While the employee was hysterical. They told me they were doing the best they can. So I just left the store. The manager follows me outside yelling at me and being very disrespectful and did all this in front of my 2 daughters. I will never go back to this goodwill again. . Very toxic atmosphere.

I used to be a former employee of this Goodwill. It was a very depressing experience! For my interview, I showed up dressed very nice, just to walk into an extremely dirty store that smelled awful. Not to mention, I couldn't even tell who was an employee there. The pay was decent so I decided to stick with it once I was offered the cashier position. The managers seemed lowkey rude at first, but once you get to know them they're pretty nice and just seem to be very stressed. I honestly didn't blame them for coming off as snappy for as long as they've been slaving away there. Once I started, I was thrown onto the cashier position with very little training. It was my first time as a cashier, so I was already nervous as is, but adding to the fact that corporate isn't willing to give their stores nicer and easier-to-use systems just made the experience even worse! I was struggling and eventually taught myself how to properly use that awful register. Customers constantly haggled for even cheaper prices (even asking if I could discount them just because they're old) and it irked me. I had to leave after one month of work for personal reasons, but eventually came back later on as they were somewhat resolved. I needed to work, and once again, their pay is decent. However, my patience was rapidly dwindling. I ended up quitting another month later, and here's why:- The environment was very depressing. There isn't even music playing in the store so all I got to listen too was coughing and angry customers.- Everything is extremely dirty and caked with dust. I highly recommend wearing a mask if you deal with asthma. My chest would actually hurt after some of my shifts.- Customers urinated on piles of clothes in the changing rooms multiple times!- Employees can't have their phone on them, which I find very stupid. It's Goodwill, not a top secret government job. If something bad happens, I'd have to run to the back of the store through the maze of racks to get help.- Only one cashier is on each shift and they're left to take care of the entire front of the store. This includes checking out customers, stocking, cleaning, helping customers, etc... I was literally running around the store every shift.- My last straw was when a higher up decided to watch and assist our crew for a couple days. She was extremely obnoxious, loud, and rude. On one shift in particular, we made a lot of money. I thought that was great, considering the higher up lady (I will not say her name) was obsessed with putting things out on the floor to make money, money, MONEY. She starts loudly whining and saying I must be wrong. Everyone double checked everything and I was handling the register correctly as I always had. What an annoying lady she is!Overall, I feel bad for anyone who works there. Corporate doesn't care about them; They only care about money.

After donating I decided to go in and look around. Whatever you do don't send a snapchat to your friend in the place. Very rude employee interaction over using my phone to take a photo. Won't be back

ETA a review and to change my previous 5 star rating. This location use to be my favorite GW but sadly, that's no longer the case. I presume they're short handed, but the bins need to be dumped out and sorted along with several other areas of the store. The trashcan at the front door is always full, plus there's garbage in the parking lot. The small walkway needs a good power washing, which I'm sure would be done by an outside company. The staff and management are nice. The overall appearance of the property, inside and out, needs improvement AND please get a few cans of deodorizing spray to occasionally spray the air and the clothes, because it smells like stale B.O. when you walk through the door.Oh! Don't forget to bring your own shopping bags and wrapping paper as apparently neither are any longer provided.

Was just checking out and the cashier starts ripping the tags off of one of the items I was buying. She told me there now policy was to remove them. Shaking my head. Do they not realize they make there money from resales. Dumbest idea EVER. Whoever thought of this rule us a moroon. Luckily no other thrift stores around here do that. Would love 2 see the day the day these goodwill go under
