“I love Shallowford Animal Hospital. Dr. Eads is fantastic and the whole veterinary staff really cares about your pets. I've been taking my Rottweiler, Raya and my poodle, Cosmo, to SAH since they were puppies. They've always gotten excellent care. Dr. Eads takes the time to explain your pets treatment. He also is great with offering suggestions that are lower cost (such as when my pup had yeasty paws he had a great home remedy that worked perfectly). When my rottie needed to get spayed, we also had a gastroplexy (stomach tacking) done and Dr. Eads brought in a specialist who would leave her ovaries intact and do the gastroplexy. Her surgery was without incident. It's this kind of care that makes a huge difference. The entire staff is very responsive when I've had concerns. Great team and would highly recommend this veterinary hospital.”

“I am very impressed with Hillsdale Animal Hospital. Dr. Frazier is so thorough, explains everything very clearly, and takes time to ensure we understand test results. She also establishes a plan and includes us in that process which is very important to me. The front desk staff and vet technicians are very pleasant and professional. And perhaps best of all, they know how to handle our somewhat anxious dog, who has behaved less anxiously at this practice than at our previous vet. We knew it was coming, but did not anticipate we would have to say goodbye during that visit. In what was a devastating moment for my wife and I, Dr. Mason showed us nothing but compassion and patience as we made our difficult decision. We did not feel rushed during the process and were given time to say goodbye on our terms. The way Dr. Mason handled everything allowed Professor to remain calm and allowed my wife and I to spend our final moments with him in a loving and calm atmosphere. Thank you Dr. Mason for showing that even in a difficult moment, a positive interaction can be had that left a lasting positive impression for both my wife and I. “Emergency vet care is expensive, much like emergency human care. Owning a pet comes with financial responsibility of that pet and I don't think it's fair to blame the vet office because you can't pay for something. That being said - we received compassionate (and extremely costly) care from this hospital and if we have another emergency we will use them again.”
“Absolutely the best vet around. We've been going for a bit and love Dr Taylor-gotta saw we've passed the love on to Dr. Tamashiro! She was able to quickly pick up on our doggo's IVDD, previously diagnosed, and gave us a supportive plan. She's been nothing but insanely helpful, compassionate and caring with our pups, and the practice itself is always the best care. Everyone there is fantastic!”

“I absolutely love Ard-Vista! They were always extremely careful with my yorkie who had terrible health issues and a collapsed trachea. They saw us through both of my previous girls' passings and were so respectful of them through the process. Dr. Morrison even sent us heartfelt, handwritten card about how special he could tell our little Piper was to us and how sorry he was for our loss. We now have 3 Maltese. Dr. Gessner is our regular vet and he is extremely patient with me and my 1,000 questions as a constantly anxious dog mom. He always takes great care of my dogs and is very careful during procedures. The entire staff is fantastic and Jessica up front is an angel. I can not say enough good things about them.”

“Our Boy, Oliver (cat) was quite sick and we called on a Friday, hoping to get in. They made time for Ollie to come in in less than an hour. As always, the ENTIRE staff was fantastic and he is doing great. They zeroed in on the issue quickly and kept us up to date. We had Greyhounds when we were younger and just like now, they treated our Greys like they were their own. I'd give twenty stars if that were an option. Mel and Dinah Howell.”
“My dog Apollo had been very sick for weeks and after 3 visits to our vet we kept getting no answers and no help so we came here. It was such a breath of relief compared to what we had been dealing with. Dr Leon took the time to listen to what had happened to my dog, what were his symptoms, what had the other vet tried to do to treat him, and then he went through what he thought the best course of action would be. He told us from the beginning he suspected it may be cancer and to be wary, but that he would still continue to try everything he could incase that it was something else. We had no trouble getting seen and weren’t being charged $120 emergency fee everytime we needed to be seen or speak to someone like my other vet had been doing. Even when I was just going to pick up medication Dr Leon took time out of his day to come talk to me, see how Apollo was doing and tell me what the plan was if this did or didn’t work. He was very accommodating and worked to try and find a solution to what was happening. Unfortunately it was cancer and there was nothing we could do further to help him, but every one was very kind to us during the process of putting him to rest. I have nothing but kind things to say about this place. They genuinely care about their patients and the people who come here. They listen and we weren’t excessively overcharged and told we needed unnecessary treatment and supplies like my previous vet had been doing.”

“We are deeply grateful to the entire team for the care, compassion, and professionalism they showed our kitten, Henry.
From the moment we arrived during an emergency, it was clear that Henry was treated with urgency, expertise, and genuine kindness. The doctors and staff took the time to explain what was happening, walked us through difficult decisions with honesty and empathy, and never once made us feel rushed or unheard.
Although Henry’s condition was ultimately not survivable, we know he received aggressive, thoughtful care and, most importantly, comfort. In the short time he was with us, he became incredibly special to our family, and we are thankful he was surrounded by people who truly cared for him in his final days.
This team made an unimaginably hard experience a little more bearable, and we will always be thankful for that.
