I'm not one to do these reviews, but today it's needed for this store. This is by far the worst dg I've ever stepped foot in. I came in to buy some things for the week and use online coupons that only work with your phone number. As I was putting my phone number in, the screen changed to the total, so I no longer had access to the digital coupons I was attempting to use. The lady behind the counter said she had only been working there a couple months and threw a small tantrum when I mentioned ringing it all back up and starting over. She tried to claim that I saved on this and that, not realizing that digital coupons explicitly work by using your account phone number. I would have saved 10 extra dollars if I could have used my number. After going to the car and unloading everything, I looked at the receipt to make sure I was correct and then walked back into the store. As I walked back in, I overhear her and another customer talking about me and the previous encounter. I wasn't mean or rude during the first encounter, just frustrated. So, this will go a little further now because she thought me being right about the rung-up amount was funny enough to make jokes or talk whatever trash left her mouth after I had initially walked out. I would strongly suggest driving the 10 extra minutes to the other store, because there's no excuse for that behavior. If you don't like your job, don't want to do your job, then go home. A formal complaint will be filed for this store, and against how this employee acted once I stepped outside of the store.

So I got hired two weeks ago because the manager Keesha had told my friend she had two people walk out and needed the help,so i applied called that Monday she told me how much my pay would be, that it was a part time.job, sent my new hire paperwork had that filled out after waiting almost a week and speaking with her almost everyday that week and her telling me that as soon as that comes and I fill it out and do my background I was set, well my background check had came back that Sunday, that following Monday I called to ask her when I would be starting and she wouldn't come to the phone and the assistant manager or whoever she is rude as hell has a bad attitude and really shouldn't be working there acting that way trash. She told me she would give Keisha the message, well never hears anything so I had went up there talked to Keesha and was told she would hopefully call me by the end of the day and let me know when I could start, never heard from her, Tuesday never heard from her, so I called Tuesday night and left another message nothing. Wednesday nothing so Thursday I reached out to the district manager and when I had all of a sudden she called me and told me that she had decided to go with another candidate, after hiring me me doing my paperwork my background check coming in and her telling me Monday that I had the job. Then not only that she hits me up on facebook telling me she went with another candidate. Trash is what that place is and I'm almost positive that it's because im gay. She is nasty and has a bad attitude as well as the assistant. But I'm taking things in my hands and I'll make sure that things and situations are dealt with as needed. Very unprofessional, rude, and just all around trash.

I went shopping here for house supplies while in the backmy daughter asked to use the bathroom and was told no it's out of order I sent her home and I stayed behind shopping when the dark hair cashier told her coworker with dark red hair she did not want her in there and was not going to use the bathroom spent 83.00 here management should drug test employees or train them to work with the public ridiculous behavior unnecessary

After spending $400 at this location, just this morning a woman with short black hair refused to let me use the restroom. I had to drive HOME in order to use MY bathroom. There's no reason to be so cruel. I went to Dollar General with my mother who overheard a conversation about, just not letting me use it. My mom is angry and it's so very disrespectful to treat paying customers as if they're thieves. A woman with long, curly poorly dyed red hair just decided to disregard any questions that I asked her. She practically pretended I wasn't standing directly in front of her. Rude. I'd like to speak to a store manager in regards to both employees.

Very friendly staff, and nice, clean store! I've gotten to know the employees and I have to say it really burns me up to see some of these reviews complaining about only one register open and shelves not being stocked because you all need to realize they , like every business are given a tight budget for labor! These people work their tails off trying to keep the store clean and stocked while also trying to run register, they aren't allowed to have more than 2 people working at a time most days and some days only allowed one person! So, when you see some of the shelves empty, that's why... When you see an employee outside smoking, that's probably the first break they've gotten in 4 or 5hrs! The two ladies that usually work during the day are constantly running around the store trying so hard to clean and stock and take care of their rude customers that do nothing but fuss and complain about them not standing behind the register all day while at the same time they're complaining about items not in stock! Come on people! Can you be in 2 places at once? These ladies do their best!

For months shelves are not stocked. The last 3 times I went there, I left with nothing. They never have what I need. Boxes and of supplies needing to be stocked and no one ever in site.

Called and asked bout a dog food to see if it was in stock. The man who extremely nice and checked. He told me they only had one, I asked if he could hold it for me and he was able to do so. Very thankful for him cause if not I wouldn’t have been able to find my dogs food.

Nice store they do sell alcohol what's the exception of holidays you can get in and out pretty quick most of the time, I like this store

The guy with the (black hair,bigger guy), was extremely rude,disrespectful, and creepy. I walked in to use the restroom before I shopped and he walked me to the bathroom and proceeded to walk into the bathroom and stand in there until I had to ask him if he was going to leave. After using the restroom, I went to check out and I wanted to do a split payment and the guy could not comprehend what I wanted to do. After he finally comprehend what I wanted to do and I went to put my card in and he kept making smart remarks. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

These people are always so nice to me and my infant son, they treat us like family and although the store is a little unorganized, its still my go to place to shop.
