Called to get new service but we only need it for cooking in our new house and were basically told "NO" we would have to empty/fill the tank twice a year. HORRIBLE service, as they're not interested in helping the little guy.

Please update the hours you are open, I got all my tanks and even got my elderly neighbors two tanks borrowed a trailer in order to haul them, got them loaded onto the trailer, strapped them down and spaced so they could refill them without any problems or having to move them, and then after all that, I arrived at around 6:30 or so and they were closed, which made not be a big deal for some people, but I have had a shoulder replacement and it is not easy to get some heavier things done anymore, plus I was borrowing a trailer, so I had to unload it in order to return it, just to do the whole process over again the next time I get propane!

I've been dealing with Ferrell gas for over 20 years. In the past 8 months I've been trying to get my defective gas tank replaced. They don't seem to be interested in keeping my business. If you're considering getting propane from a local company I would definitely look elsewhere.UpdateThe Manager called and explained that they are having trouble finding help. He apologized and focused on my situation. Shortly I received my long awaited tank which was filled the next day.Thank you.

I purposely waited until now to post this review of my propane delivery October 13, 2022. This is no way reflects on Chasen, the Ferrellgas Delivery person. I have been a faithful customer of Farrellgas for more than 30 years. I am personally responsible for multiple people and companies contacting Ferrellgas for their propane gas needs. The tank was at 30%, per the tank gauge. As my tank was been filled, I noticed propane gas sporadically spewing from the top of the tank area. Chasen explained; he had been trained to open the bleed valve (a small valve on the top of the tank) to ensure as not to overfill the tank. I asked why he didn't trust the reading on the tank gauge? He said the tank gauge may be faulty and he did not want to overfill the tank. The bleed valve would show him when the tank was at 80%. I told him they used to fill the tank to 85% and the bleed valve system had never been changed or modified to spew at 80%. I told him I have never seen this done before, and I have observed many propane fills over the 30 years. I mentioned the propane being lost was at my cost for a potential problem of the tank gauge, which is a Ferrellgas piece of equipment. He said I wasn't being charged for the lost propane. I asked how that was possible, since I was being charged for every ounce that passes from the truck through the hose to the tank. He didn't have answer and said he would call the supervisor and ask the question. Propane continued to sporadically spew from the bleed valve until the tank gauge showed approximately 70%. Then the propane was fairly constantly coming out the bleed port. I don't know how much propane was lost during the process, but I know the tank isn't at 80%. I only received 127.2 gallons after a full years use. In the past, I always needed between 150 and 175 gallons. Chasen made the phone call but did not get an answer. I am not a happy or satisfied customer. I am retired from the US Air Force and depending upon the answer(s) I receive from this post, of what will be said to inform my over 2.5 million Friends on multiple sites of this practice and the results from this Post. By the way, if the gauge is faulty why hasn't it been replaced as of this post.Post Copied and pasted to file.

This company doesn't appear to want business I called and was told they could not fill up my private owned in ground propane tank because it might be under contract with another company. So much for customer service. If I could give negative stars I would.
