“Not only is Rachel Smith an extraordinary potter, she,is an extraordinary human. I am always fascinated by her use of color and technique used to create beautiful unique pieces. Rachel and her group are always ready to step up to support the community in any way they can. If you are looking for one of a kind pieces this is your place. It does not disappoint.”
“A cool gift shop and pottery operation...my time was spent with the gifts and I was impressed...the pictures were next level framed on glass...from chocolates to towels...Just a well done shop!! I'll return!”
“Artisans on Main is my "go to" local spot for wonderful and unique gifts for myself and others. They have everything from lamps, to woodworking, to jewelry. I love that they only carry work from local artists. I know when I get a gift from here, that it's going to be very special. ”
“Nice curation of elevated local art - plus sweet home made sorbet and icecream shop in the back with interesting flavors. Even a vegan option! So nice to take a drive out of Asheville to support this gallery.”
“Chris Van Dyke repaired 2 rings for me and I'm very pleased with his work! He explained all the options and helped me choose the right thing for me and for my rings. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend him!”
“Beautiful glass work! The owner was not blowing glass today, but he was so kind to explain the glass blowing process to our kids. He even took a family picture of us! Highly recommend!”
“The moment I walked in the door, greeted warmly, was able to walk around at my leisure. The place has a very eclectic collection of artists selling the wares, from fiber, metal, paper, metal and anything handmade you could possibly want all in one place. Kari was crocheting away behind the counter, even shared her stitch with me.
I will definitely be back, make sire to visit Zuma for some die jars oatmeal cookies, like seriously folks my dad drives 12 hours to come and get his cookies fix on.
Support local especially the artist in residence who live, work and play right here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.”
