Spectrum is awful. Billing is deceitful. Service is terrible. Customer service is pathetic. Can not emphasize enough my belief that they are the worst possible option for the services that they provide.

I got a bad customer service. Should be nice treat to customer, but was not. He needs for more skills to handle with customer. Never get the Spectrum service again.

A few months ago we lost a phone - which we did not know had Spectrum’s warranty program ($12/month, I imagine the sales person snuck it in there given their shady practices) and we went to the store to see if there was anything we could do for a lost phone. They said no bc find my iPhone wasn’t on and, they right away sold us a new phone. Which the sales person was upset that we paid in full, he tried to push monthly payments.Just a month ago I found out that the salesperson at the store had ROLLED the warranty service from the old phone to the new phone we purchased and that’s how we found out that we could have gotten the warranty to cover a new phone when we lost it. Spectrum failed to informed us of this, and not only that but they rolled over their useless warranty/protection service onto our new phone.

Removed our cable package, kept the WiFi and they told us to return the equipment at the store. We returned the equipment and the woman was super sour for no apparent reason and cancelled EVERYTHING. Got home and had no WiFi and spent 20 - 30 minutes on the phone with Spectrum correcting everything that wasn't necessary in the first place.

10/10 great service from Cion at the store in Matthews. My family member switched from being on my mobile phone plan to a Spectrum mobile phone. Due to reasons beyond anyone’s control, making this switch required several trips to the store. Each time Cion was amazing to work with. She was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. She made what could have been quite a frustrating experience far less so with her pleasant demeanor.

Good thing it's cheap because it certainly does not work. My phone is unusable in most of my neighborhood including my own house even though it's SUPPOSED to work on the wifi, which is ALSO Spectrum. If I find something with better service that's in my budget I'll be switching.

The Spectrum Store in Matthews, and more specifically their Sales Rep Cion, are fantastic! I just moved to Charlotte and needed to setup up Internet access for my new home. The online process was cumbersome and things got confusing. I set a an appointment for the store and everything was handled in 10 minutes. Nice work.

If you want to be treated like a piece of garbage this is the right place! the young people here are spoiled, unwilling to help, and unwilling to do the job, I got there to make a request that I was told over the phone that I should do in person, I went to the place and tried to explain to the young man the situation I was going through and he did not understand, I explained again and he told me that HE WAS NOT STUPID, when it was not even my intention to offend him like that, I just wanted him to understand my problem, I didn't argue anymore, I took my receipt and left, with the promise that I would never come back here. ...they should fire those who don't want to work.

Very frustrated, I gave them my card to pay my bill and set up for automatic payment (as I told him this) then when it was time for the bill I got an email stating that my service was going to be suspended due to an over balance, THEN I got an email saying that my card was going to be charged $149.31 even though my balance was supposed to be only $74 per month. So I go in AGAIN to the store only to find out it’s because the employee put my card in the system but never used it to pay my bill or put it on automatic payment like I had asked him too (what’s the point of giving you my card then?!). So this new employee said that he got it all fixed for me and said my card was on auto pay now. NEXT month goes by and I get the SAME TWO emails. So I go into the store AGAIN to ask what happened they tell me I owe $149.31 for back charges and there’s nothing they can do and tell me to call the number, fine, I call the number. (He was rude too). The guy on the phone tells me that the reason auto pay/payment wasn’t working is because no one entered my name for the card while putting in my card information (how do you miss that THREE times?!). Store seems unprofessional and untrained. Will not be going back to spectrum.

Today, 9/1/23, at around 11:00am, I received awful customer service from the lady working there. She didn't care to ask any important questions, she wouldn't answer any basic questions and it came across as exceptionally lazy and rude. It seemed like this Spectrum employee really hated her job. She should not be in customer service. She refused to discuss my bill, she wouldn't listen to the items I wanted to keep versus cancel. It was an awful experience. This is in addition to the fact that Spectrum recently raised my bill, with no warning, and then cut ESPN. All around terrible experience with Spectrum.

On Sunday June 11th at 3pm, the internet went out due to bad weather (which it always does with this provider anytime it rains “too hard”).The last time this happened the technician was negligent and didn’t turn my Wi-Fi back on for my building’s unit, so I went a WEEK without internet (as a work from home employee). Extremely unacceptable….Today, Monday June 12th at 6:30am I called to see why my building still has no internet (again as a work from home employee) and no updates on what’s going on are in the system. Technicians have supposedly been working nonstop since but I was told it’s just my building without internet again and that they have no idea when the internet will be working again.Then at 7am I received a text saying if my service outage lasts 4 hours no or longer then I’ll receive a credit as if there hasn’t been been a service outage they’ve been “working to restore” since yesterday at 3pm….Update as of 9am: I received a call and text message saying that the internet was restored YET ONCE AGAIN, my building is still without internet even though the “internet is restored”.I called a representative who I am now speaking with and even though I have been without internet since Sunday at 3pm and they’ve sent away the team that was “working to restore the internet” I now have to wait until tomorrow Tuesday (June 13) at 10am-11am for them to be able to send out a technician to fix my building’s internet. Negligence to my building only ONCE AGAIN. Spectrum’s service is a joke at this point honestly.I’ve literally never dealt with a provider that had as many issues with providing internet as Spectrum does. It makes no sense..then they try to push more services on you as if they are efficiently able to provide the one internet service you’re forced to have with them if you live in an area like mine where they are the only provider. The only plus out of all of this is the old technician supervisor that always is quick to help after the week of me going without internet but I shouldn’t have to bother him for things like this.Update: A lot of false advertising when it comes to the efficiency of this company’s internet. Yet ANOTHER random internet outage in the middle of the day today at 2:30pm for no reason at all for the next four hours. I work from home and when I say ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING with this company’s internet it always is. Then they don’t send out technicians for days typically. If you can get another internet provider other than this one, please do so. They sent me a text saying my internet is restored when my apartment is the ONLY unit still without internet.I have to wait until Saturday for an appointment..so no Wi-Fi to work from home the rest of my work day or tomorrow..WOOHOOOO !
